March 23rd Enhancements Notification


TeamSideline will release the next set of enhancements this Thursday night, March 23rd.  In addition to the items below, we have also made many minor improvements throughout the site based on your feedback.  Thanks for letting us know what helps you – it helps everyone using TeamSideline. 

As we continue to add new features, it’s vital that we maintain the 100% Customer Service rating that Site Administrators have given our Support Team.  It’s not an accident – Customer Support is a prime focus – it’s what helps set us apart from everyone else out there so we take it very seriously.  Please continue to tell us and remind us of how we can serve you better – and email [email protected] if you want help.

TeamSideline Mobile App

We are laying the foundation for the new TeamSideline Team Site mobile app in this release.  The iPhone beta version will be available soon in the Apple App store, which will be followed a few weeks later by the Android version.  Interested in being an early adopter tester and get the latest features?  Send an email to [email protected] and we’ll add you to the list.

Split Brackets for Standard Divisions

Ever have one division that you want to split into two brackets – such as upper and lower brackets from a single division?  For Sites with the Premium upgrade, you now have access to this new functionality.  To setup your division, all you have to do is indicate on the 1 Configuration > Scheduling page how many teams and what type of bracket you would like for both the Playoff and 2nd Playoff Schedules.  Once you select these options, follow the same process to create both bracket schedules.  Email [email protected] if you are interested in learning more about the Premium upgrade.

Membership Module – Monthly Payments for Youth Programs

Your organization can now take automatic monthly membership fee credit card payments for both Youth and Adult Programs until the customer’s membership is cancelled.  As an admin, you are also able to cancel the membership or update the payment method for any customer.  If you are interested in learning more about adding the Membership Module to your site, just email [email protected].

Team Registration Dashboard

Team Registrations now have their own Report Dashboard.  Go to Reports > Report Dashboards > Team Enrollments and click the Dashboard Configuration button to get started.  Select multiple Programs if you like, the particular Enrollment Status’ you need to review, then the Apply button.  Once the table is displayed, you can further filter by Name, Program, Offering, Team, and Enrollment Status.  If you are interested in learning more about adding Team Registration to your site, email [email protected].

Facility Management Visibility

For our Facility Management customers, you can now easily turn on and off visibility for Location Reservations on your public page. Just go to Facility Reservation > Facilities and make the eyeball icons either green (visible) or red (invisible).  If you are interested in learning more about the Facility Management module, email [email protected].

Sponsor Categories

In our last release, we introduced a new public Sponsors page.  We have further enhanced this by enabling you to Categorize your sponsors, calling them whatever you want (ex. Gold, Silver, Bronze) and then defining their public page Display Size as Small (6 images across), Medium (4 images across), or Large (2 images across).  To get started, first create the Sponsor Categories (go to Content > Sponsors then click on the Categories button).  Then when you add a new sponsor or edit an already existing one, you can assign the appropriate Category.  Don’t forget to check out your public Sponsors page to see how they now look!

Activity Log Enhancements

Also for our Premium customers, we have begun adding field level before and after information for the Activity Log (Administration > Manage Users).  When you update a parent or player record, before and after data is now being added.  Click on the spy glass icon to see this additional level of detail.  This new enhancement will be rolling out to the rest of the site functions in upcoming future releases.

Please note that the downtime period to enable these enhancements to be implemented will be from 10pm – midnight (PST) Thursday night, March 23rd.
