Here are the steps to setup your TeamSideline email in Outlook:
- Go into Account Settings.
- Click on New…
- Select “Manual setup or additional server types”.
- Click the Next button.
- Select “POP or IMAP”.
- Click the Next button.
- Type in the following:
- Your name: your name
- Email address: the email address you are going to use
- Account Type: POP3 or IMAP
- Incoming mail server: email.teamsideline.net
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): email.teamsideline.net
- User Name: the email address you are going to use
- Password: your password
- (Note: Use your WebMail password, this is not your Admin password. Click here to reset WebMail password.)
- Keep checked “Remember password”.
- Click on the More Settings button.
- Click on the “Outgoing Server” tab.
- Click on “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires Authentication”.
- Click on “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”.
- Click on the “Advanced” tab.
- Incoming server (POP3): 995 or (IMAP) 993
- Click “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)”.
- Outgoing server (SMTP): 465
- Select “SSL” from the “Use the following type of encrypted connection”. Note: Set this to None for a POP3 setup if SSL setting is not working.
- Click the OK button
- Click the Next button to test the connection.
