December 13th Enhancements Notification 

TeamSideline will release our final set of 2018 system enhancements Thursday night, December 13th.

TBD Playoff Games

To Be Determined (TBD) playoff games where only one opponent has been confirmed so far will now be available in the mobile app, the team site and the calendar subscription for the team that we know is going to play in that playoff game.  Now no more waiting until the second opponent has been decided.

Team Registration Roster Edits

For the Team Registration program, now any person on the roster can be enabled to edit the roster.  If you are a Site Administrator, from a Team Rosters page click the edit icon for any team member, change Roster Edit to Yes, and click the Save button.  You will now see a blue people icon indicating this roster member has roster edit capabilities.

The Team Manager also has the ability to use this feature.  Once a Team Manager signs in, from the Roster Page they can click the edit icon for any team member to change Roster Edit to Yes.  They will then see a blue people icon indicating the roster member has roster edit capabilities. 

Officials Self-Registration

If you are using the Officials Module, you can now have officials sign themselves up versus admins having to add them manually to the system.  To enable this feature, go to Schedules > Officials Management > Configurations and in the Self-Registration section, change Enabled to Yes, enter a Registration Code, and click the Save button.  To “invite” your officials, use the Communications > Send Communication process and once you select the communication list to send to, click the “Links” dropdown in the Email Message and select “Officials Self-Registration” – this will provide the invitees the link to the official’s registration page.  Interested in the Officials Module?  Just email for more information.

Read Only Reports

Organizations that use our Premium package can now control report export data accessed by Site Administrators.  Reports > Report Exports reports can be 100% customized and saved by overall site admins as “Read Only” reports.  This means neither the report data nor report format can be changed by the administrator running the report.  When you click the Save Report button, just click the Read Only? checkbox to enable this feature.

Admin User Filter for Saved Reports

Admin User Filters enable an organization to control admin access to content, standard reports, transactions and now admin-defined saved reports.  Once you’ve created and saved a new version of a report, go to Administration > Manage Users > Users and click on the edit icon for an admin.  Click on the Filters tab, set Category = Saved Report, Filter Type = Has Access To, Filter = the report name, and click the Add button.

Admin User Filter for Specific Sports

Admin User Filters also enable an organization to control access to programs and leagues by sport.  With this new Premium functionality, administrators can only see the programs and schedules related to the sport they have been granted access to. If you would like to use this functionality, send an email to and we can enable this for your Premium site.  To use this functionality for one of your admins, go to Administration > Manage Users > Users and click on the edit icon for an admin.  Click on the Filters tab, set Category = Sport Type, Filter Type = Has Access To, Filter = a specific sport, and click the Add button. 

Public More Info Page

Currently when a customer clicks on the More Info button for any program, the public offerings are all displayed in alphabetical order.  Now when you rearrange the offerings to be in “Display Order” on the admin side, these offerings will now reflect that same “Display Order” on the public side.

Please note that the downtime period to enable these enhancements to be implemented will be from 10pm – midnight (Pacific) on Thursday night, December 13th.
