January 22nd Enhancements Notification
We will implement our first Release of 2020 TeamSideline system enhancements on Wednesday night, January 22nd. In addition to the items below, we have also made many other improvements throughout the site thanks to your feedback. If you have more feedback, please email email@example.com.
Team Site Practice Reminders
A popular request! After this release you will be able to easily configure all Team Sites created from your site to automatically send out Practice Reminders to rosters. You can also configure Practice Reminders to include Player Attendance Polls. Just go to Programs > Configurations > Team Sites and set the Practice Reminder, Practice Poll, and Default Response fields. The result will be that the next time you deploy a practice schedule to a Team Site from a registration program, these practice event values will be set for all teams.
New Donations Page
In addition to a public Store page, you can now easily add a Donation page to your public site to give anyone the ability to donate money of any amount to your organization. Guest Checkout will be next and is coming soon! Meanwhile to use this feature, first create a Donation Buy Item at Programs > Configurations > Buy Items/Add-Ons. Second, go to Programs > Store/Donations Setup, select Donations from the Storefront dropdown, then click the Add button to add the item(s) to your Donations page. To put the page on your public page, go to Content > Configurations > Site Pages, right click Menu Pages, select Donations, and then the Save button. Now go to your public home page and check out the new Donations page you just created. Need to add some text to the top of this page? Go to Content > Page Edit and select Donations Page – Instructions Section and add in the text you want your customers to see. Need help setting this up? We are making some key additions to the Membership Module functions:
- Under Communications > Send Communications, there is a new option called Memberships. If you click on the triangle icon, this list will expand to show you the list of available memberships. Click on the checkbox to easily send an email to all of the active members of that membership.
- You can now send a copy of your membership orders to any email address. Go to Programs > Configurations > Memberships, click on the edit icon for your membership, and add the email address(es) to the Order Copy To field (for multiple email addresses, use a comma to separate).
- There is now a Membership Dashboard under Reports > Report Dashboards so you can quickly see your organization’s memberships. Once you are on this page, click the Dashboard Configuration button, select your Membership Program(s) and click the Apply button. Click the column titles to sort that specific column and click the blue Options on the right of each line to quickly go to different options for that customer.

Content Table Import
One of the popular Content enhancement requests we’ve had is the ability to upload to a Content Table. This is useful for populating tables with lists of free agents, directors on duty, picture day times, etc and would show on your public page for your customers to see. After this release, go to Administration > Import Data and try out the new Content Table Import – there is a PDF with more information and an example CSV file. The Basketball Scoresheet located under Reports > Report Viewer has had several improvements made for this release.
- The addition of a Start and End Date so you can choose which dates you want to generate the scoresheet for.
- Displaying better information for both the Court and Gender fields.
- Added a fourth row for Home and Away Time Outs.
- Added a Referee(s) signature line to the bottom of each page.
- Created a new version called Basketball Scoresheet with 8 Periods that allows individual scoring in eight periods vs four.
Add-On Report Buy Items
On the Add-On report under Reports > Report Exports, you can now select specific Buy Items to report on vs having to report out on just one or every one of them. Just click the dropdown for the Buy Item field and select the ones you want to include in your report.
On the Enrollments Dashboard under Reports > Report Dashboards, a new link has been added under the blue Options icon. Select Edit Enrollee and a new tab will be opened in your browser directly to their personal data. This will make it easier to review specific data regarding the enrollee such as uploaded birth certificates, proof of residency, etc.
Archived Programs Page Filters
The Archived Programs page under Programs is now a bit easier to find your old programs. When you go to this page, you will now see a filter available for both the Program and Season columns. Type in a partial word for either field and see the list below reduced to a more manageable amount.
Volunteer Management Opportunity Display Order
On the Customers > Volunteer Management page, you can now drag and drop the Volunteer Opportunities to list them the way you want to view them. Look for the six dots icon to the left of the Opportunity Name column, click your left mouse button, and drag and drop the Opportunity to the appropriate row.
Officials Game Report
The Officials Game report has been enhanced to include the ability to add the address fields of the officials for the game to your reporting. Look for the new optional fields in the right-hand column that begin with Official. Interested in the Officials Module? Just email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
