January 18th Enhancements Notification
Important Information For TeamSideline Customers

Admin Site Map Updated!
The Admin Site Map has been given a facelift! A few of the changes include the text is a bit crisper and sharper and any schedules you have created are displayed nicely if you scroll down on the home page. All the “Help” options have been relocated to the right side of each page – click the “Help” dropdown to get specific help for a page, go the Knowledge Base, view the online documentation or training videos, check the overall system status, or send an email to our support team.
Game Scroller Speed
You can now control the speed of your Game Scroller! There are now 3 speed options: Slow, Medium (the default option), and Fast. Go to Content > Configurations > General to update the Gadget Speed.
For our registration sites, you can now control more options of what you want to display about your adult customers. Go to Customers > Configurations > General and decide if you want to include the Company Name, Birthday, Middle Name or Player ID (this ID is determined by your organization). Once any one of these options is enabled, you can edit a parent on your site to view or update the information.
New Site Customizations
We have added even more site customization options. Go to Content > Configuration > Site Layout to change how your Menu bar appears on your site. You can also update the font, the size of the text and more!
Automatic Refund Email
You can now automatically send your customers an email when you process a refund for them. On the Customer’s Account Overview page, click the Add Transaction button, select Refund-Credit Card from the dropdown, select the appropriate order, type in the amount to be refunded, any comments, and then click the Refund Confirmation checkbox. You can view these emails in the System Log (Communications > Communication Logs).
Public “Find Team Schedule” Search
The Find Team Schedule search function that is available for admins to add to your organization’s home or schedule page has been updated to now include the ability to find practice schedules. Turn this feature on by going to Schedules > Configurations > General and change Show Find Option to Yes.
Order Confirmation Text
If you would like to change the default Order Confirmation text for when you allow Checks or Other types of payment forms, go to Programs > Configurations > General. Scroll down to the Payment Information section, click the appropriate Override checkbox, and type in the appropriate corresponding Help Text.
If you use Active as your registration system, you may be interested in our latest module. We have created a linkage to Active so that when a person or team registers in Active, the order information is automatically downloaded to your TeamSideline site. Then you can roster players to teams, create team sites for your parents, and create schedules much more quickly and easily. Interested? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for all the details.
Registration Programs - Enrollment Fields Separator Section
Nice enhancements coming your way for our registration programs.
- If your program has a lot of Enrollment fields, you can now add a Separator heading to group the Enrollment fields.This will enable admins to present the Enrollment fields in a more organized display to your end customers. On the 2 Configuration tab of any program, click the Add Separator button in the Enrollments Fields section to try it out. To view how it will look, click the 3 Preview tab and review the Enrollment Page option.
- You can now setup an enrollment field so that it pulls data from the most recent enrollment field for the person who is signing up. On the 2 Configuration tab of any program, when you are adding an Enrollment Field, change the Use Previous dropdown to Yes and the data will be populated for your customers as they are enrolling.
Membership Module – Group/Family Memberships
If you are using the TeamSideline Membership Module, you will now have the ability to add a Group/Family membership. Go to Programs > Configurations > Memberships and either add or edit a membership option. Once the Type = Group, then this option can be purchased and used for all family members on the account. If you are interested in learning more about adding the Membership Module to your site, just email email@example.com.
New Calendar Colors
Premium customers can now color code your leagues in the admin and public view of your calendars all the way down to the Division level. For any division, go to the division’s 1 Configuration > Display page, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose the background and border color of how your games and practices will appear in your site calendars. These selections will update the Organization, Location, and Multi Location Calendars. Any games or practices for the division will appear as the specific colors you have chosen. This new feature is available for all Premium sites. Interested? Email firstname.lastname@example.org for information about pricing.
New Team Site Chat Notification Badges
Team Site App users can now see when they have unread chat messages. Red numbered notification badges will now alert users if they have any unread chats and will display the number of unread chats. This is a brand new feature for the Team Site App and we plan on adding many more - stay tuned!
Please note that the downtime period to enable these enhancements will be from 10:00pm – 1:00am (Pacific) on Tuesday night, January 18th.
