March 30th Enhancements Notification

Automatic Game Change Communications to Roster Members
For our Premium sites, you can now send out an automated email to the full team roster if a game has been updated/changed on the 4 Create Schedule page. For any division, go to the 1 Configuration > Communication page and change the new field Include Rosters to Yes. Interested? Email firstname.lastname@example.org for information about pricing to upgrade your site to Premium.
2nd League Division Playoff Seeding
When setting up a 2nd playoff bracket in a Division, the Playoff Seed Source can now be set to Next – Regular Season when you select By Standings for the Playoff See Method. This will enable the 2nd bracket to be automatically populated with the “next” team names as they appear in the standings. Next up – enabling the Tournament Divisions to also use this new functionality for split Playoff brackets.
ActiveNet Integration – Automatic Welcome Emails
If you are using our new Active module to automatically load orders, we have enhanced this module to send out an automatic Welcome email to your Team Managers when that order is downloaded into TeamSideline. On the 2a Team Configuration tab of your program, click the ActiveNetwork Configuration button, then the Enrollment Configurations button to change Send Email to Yes. Image Rotator plus Photo Gallery Enhancements
Our Image Rotator and Photo Gallery functions have been updated so it is easier to use and looks much better on your site. Did you know you can add text to show below each image in the Photo Gallery? Go to Content > Photo Gallery and click the pencil icon for the desired image to add your text.
Transfer a Player from One Program to Another
For Youth and Adult registration programs, for both player and volunteer enrollments, you can now transfer an enrollment from one program to another. Within the Account Overview page of a customer, click on the Enrollments tab and edit the enrollment. Click the Transfer Enrollment button, select the new Program, Offering and Enrollment Selection (volunteer enrollments only) and click the Transfer button. Next up – expanding this new functionality to our Team Registration programs.
Background Checks Dashboard Updates
For current sites that are integrated with Protect Youth Sports (PYS), we’ve implemented a few new enhancements on the Background Checks Dashboard (under Reports > Report Dashboards).
- You can now view Parent Custom Fields on the Background Checks Dashboard. Click the Dashboard Configuration button, update up to three of the Additional Column dropdowns, and click the Apply
- The Order Date column has been added as an optional field you can add to be displayed.
- If a background check is marked as Failed by an admin, the customer’s Expiration Date is reset and if they try to enroll again, they will automatically be put through the background check process.
- You can now select more than one program on the Program dropdown within the Dashboard Configuration.

Membership Module Updates
We’ve added a couple of handy updates for our sites that use the Membership Module.
- For a customer that needs the Auto Renew option enabled/disabled on their account, click on the Memberships tab, then click the blue arrow icon and select Cancel Membership/Auto Renew. You can click the Enable/Cancel Auto-Renewal button as needed for the situation.
- You can reorder the display of the Membership Options. Go to Programs > Configurations > Memberships, click the triangle for your Membership, and use the 6 dots on the left to drag and drop the display order of the options.

New Sponsor Scroll
Due to high demand, we have added a new option for the Sponsor display! You can now choose to have the Sponsor images on your Home Page scroll. To turn this option on go to Content > Configurations > General and for Sponsors Style use the drop down to select Scroll and click the Save button. If you are not already utilizing the Sponsors option, go to Content > Sponsors to get started.
Social Media now Available for Header
You can now have your Social Media links show on the Header of your Home Page. Go to Content > Configurations > General and scroll down to Site Social Links and change Social Media Icons Position to Header and click the Save button.
New Program Style
Now offering a new way to display your Programs on your Home Page. If you do not want to display your Programs in a list, we have a new Block option where Programs are displayed 2 across in blocks. To turn this new view on, go to Content > Configurations > General scroll down to the Program section and for Style, use the drop down to select Blocks and click the Save button.
Content Table Hyperlink
You no longer have to deal with long messy looking URLS in your Content Table. We have added a new Column Type “Link” to Content Tables. Go to Content > Content Tables and click the pencil icon to add the new “Link” column. Once added, you can now enter the Link and the Link’s Display Name that will now show instead of the link.
Easy Setup on the 2 Configuration Page
We’ve added quick links on the Program > 2 Configuration page of your registration programs. If you need to add or modify an Add-On, Enrollment Field, or Terms and Conditions, click the corresponding Manage button to go to the respective pages to make your updates. Once you are done, go back to Programs > Manage Programs to continue working on your program setup.
The Program > 5 Team Sites Page
If you are using either individual or team registration, you can now quickly create all a division’s team sites or publish the teams’ schedules just by clicking on the green icon on the division name row. You can still publish them one at a time if you’d like, but if you want them all done at once, just click that green icon and you’re done!
New Communication Lists by Associated Organization
For our larger sites that have many organizations working together one site, you can easily send out an email communication just to specific Associated Organization. Go to Communications > Send Communication and click the triangle next to Customer Accounts. You will now see all your Associated Organizations listed. Click the top-level checkbox to send an email just to the selected group of customers.
Please note that the downtime period to enable these enhancements will be from 10:00pm – 1:00am (Pacific) on Wednesday night, March 30th.
