What Columns Do
Columns control how content is arranged horizontally or vertically within a section. A section can hold a single full-width column, a two-column side-by-side layout, three columns, and more. Columns can also contain Inner Columns for more complex nested arrangements.
Selecting and Editing a Column
- Click anywhere in a column area on the canvas (not directly on a content block inside it).
- The label "Column" appears above it — confirm you've selected the column, not an inner element.
- The right panel shows: Layout, Content alignment, Style, Spacing, Size, and Animations & Effects.
Column Toolbar
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| Design | Opens the right panel and allows for color, formatting and sizing edits |
| ← → arrows | Move the column left or right within the section |
| + | Add a new widget into the column |
| Duplicate icon | Duplicate the column |
| Trash icon | Delete the column |
Changing Column Layout
- Select the Column (or click the Section label to select the parent section).
- In the right panel under Layout, click the desired arrangement icon (vertical or horizontal stack, alignment, etc.).
Working with Inner Columns
Inner Columns allow nested layouts — for example, placing two small items side by side inside a column that is already one half of a two-column section.
- Select an Inner Column on the canvas (the label reads "Inner Column").
- Click the Add icon (+) at the top of the left sidebar, or hover over a column and click the + button that appears.
- The Elements panel opens.
- Search for Inner Column and choose the vertical or horizontal stack option based on your design needs.
- Click it to insert into the currently selected column.
- Once the inner column is added, you can drag and drop other elements into it so that you format those elements as one. The example below shows a Column, with 2 Inner Columns side by side (an image and a text block).
