The processing fee on each Payrix card payment is in TeamSideline's settlement reports. To see the fee on each payment in a payout, export Settlement Item Detail from Reports > Report Exports and read its Gross, Fees and Net columns. To total the fees for a period, run Settlements By Date Range - Payrix in Reports > Report Viewer; the totals are on the last page.

What the fee is and who pays it
Every online card payment has a processing fee: TeamSideline's standard Payrix rate is 2.95% + $0.30 per payment, unless your agreement says otherwise. Depending on how your account is set up, your organization pays it out of each payment, or customers pay it as a Processing Fee at checkout. Payrix doesn't return its fee when you refund a payment; only a payment voided before it settles has no fee. What are the Payrix credit card processing fees, and who pays them? explains the options.
See the fee on each payment (Settlement Item Detail)
- Go to Reports > Report Exports.
- Under Customer, in the Payment Gateway category, click Settlement Item Detail.
- In Payment Gateway, choose your gateway.
- In Settlement, check the payouts you want. Each is listed by its Payrix reference, its date and its amount.
- Under Columns, keep at least Gross, Fees and Net, and add Order Number and the customer's name to identify each payment.
- Choose the Export Type and click Export.
What you'll see: one row per payment, refund or adjustment in those payouts. Gross is the amount charged, Fees is the processing fee taken out of it, and Net is Gross minus Fees, the amount deposited. Click Save Report to keep your choices for next time.
Total the fees for a period (Settlements By Date Range - Payrix)
- Go to Reports > Report Viewer.
- In Report, select Settlements By Date Range - Payrix and click Go.
- Enter the StartDate and EndDate and click Preview.
- Go to the last page of the report.
What you'll see: the card payments made between those dates that Payrix has already paid out, with Trans Date, Trans #, Customer Name, CC Last 4, Source, Trans Amt, Fees and Net, subtotaled by source. The last page shows Total Payment-Credit Card, Total Payment-Payrix Fees and Total Payment-Payrix Net, plus Payrix Adjustments when payouts in that period included chargebacks or fee corrections.

If it doesn't work
- "Payment Gateway is required.", "Settlement is required." or "You must select at least one Field before exporting report." Choose a gateway, at least one settlement and at least one column, then click Export again.
- A recent payment isn't in any settlement report. Settlement reports are built from Payrix payouts, so a payment appears once the payout that includes it has been processed.
- A report isn't in the list. Your plan doesn't include it (see Applies to), or your admin role or report filters leave it out. Ask an Administrator.
- The Source column says UNK. The payment isn't linked to a program, store item, facility, membership or donation campaign. Contact TeamSideline Support with the Trans #.
- The totals don't match your other financial reports. Settlement reports contain only card payments processed by Payrix. Check, cash and other payments you record have no processing fee and never appear in them.
Good to know
- You don't need to sign in to the Payrix portal to see fees; these reports are in TeamSideline.
- Settlements By Date Range - Payrix picks payments by the date they were made, while Settlement Detail picks payouts by the date they were sent, so the two can cover slightly different payments.
- Chargebacks, chargeback fees and other Payrix adjustments appear as their own rows in Settlement Item Detail and in the Payrix Adjustments line of Settlements By Date Range - Payrix.
- When payouts reach your bank, and why a refund can be taken from your bank account, are explained in Payrix payouts: when deposits arrive and why refunds can debit your bank.
