TeamSideline doesn't connect to GameChanger, so nothing syncs between them. To set up GameChanger with your TeamSideline games and players, export them from TeamSideline as spreadsheet files, arrange the columns the way GameChanger's import asks for, and import the files in GameChanger.
Applies to: Admins (schedules and league rosters) and team staff (their own team's roster) · All plans (Roster Enrollment: Enhanced, Elite and Enterprise) · Organizations that also use GameChanger
Where: Reports > Report Exports > Games; Reports > Report Exports > Rosters or Roster Enrollment; on a Team Site, Roster > Player Export
Export your schedule (admins)
- Go to Reports > Report Exports and click Games.
- Choose the games: check the League, and then the Division and Team to export one team's games. Set a Location or Date Range if you need to.
- Under Columns, move the fields GameChanger's import needs, such as the date, start time, home and away teams and location, into "Show these fields in this order", and drag them into the order GameChanger asks for.
- Set Export Type to Excel (xlsx) or CSV and click Export.
What you'll see: a file with one row per game. Click Save Report to keep these choices for next season. Every filter and column is explained in How to export all games (Games Report).
Export your players
- One team (team staff): on the Team Site, open Roster and click Player Export. The roster.csv file has First Name, Last Name, Player Number (the jersey number), Player Email and Family Email for each player. See How to print or export a Team Site roster and calendar.
- Every team (admins): run the Rosters report on Reports > Report Exports. Choose the League and, if you want, the Division and Team; its columns include the players' names, team roles and jersey numbers.
- Team Registration plus Roster programs (admins): the Roster Enrollment report lists each player with their team and division. It needs the Enhanced, Elite or Enterprise plan. See How to run the Roster Enrollment Report (Team Registration plus Roster programs).
Import the files in GameChanger
GameChanger decides what its import accepts: the columns, their order and the date and time formats. Follow GameChanger's own instructions, such as GameChanger's bulk schedule importer instructions, copy TeamSideline's columns into the layout it asks for, and save the file as the type it accepts.
The picture is a sample of the column layout GameChanger's schedule import used when this article was first written. Check GameChanger's current instructions before you build your file.

Show GameChanger scores on your website
If GameChanger gives you an embed code for a widget, such as your scores, you can add it to a page on your website: see How to embed a GameChanger widget on your site (Legacy content editor). On a legacy website, paste the code into a page in Page Edit's editor view. The Home Page Banner, News Items and a division's Standings message remove script code, so a widget pasted there doesn't show.
If it doesn't work
- Division or Team stays gray on the Games report. Check exactly one league, then exactly one division.
- "You must select at least one Field before exporting report." Move at least one field into "Show these fields in this order".
- There's no Player Export button. Only the team's staff and your organization's admins see it.
- Roster Enrollment isn't on Report Exports. It needs the Enhanced, Elite or Enterprise plan, and your admin role must include it.
- GameChanger won't take the file. Compare its columns, their order and the date format with GameChanger's instructions. GameChanger's support can help with its import.
Good to know
- TeamSideline has no GameChanger integration or sync. A change in one doesn't reach the other, and an export is a snapshot, so export and import again after your schedule changes.
- Scores and stats kept in GameChanger don't reach your TeamSideline standings. Enter scores in TeamSideline, for example on Edit Scores or with Auto Coach Scoring.
- To keep a phone or computer calendar up to date, subscribe to the schedule instead of exporting it.
- GameChanger's import and widgets are GameChanger's features and can change. For help with them, contact GameChanger.
