How to Setup Facility Reservation Custom Pricing Tiers

To setup your Facility Reservation Custom Pricing tiers like For Profit/Non Profit, Employee/Non-Employee, follow these steps.

1. Create the Custom Categories.

  • Go to Facility Reservation > Configurations > Pricing Tiers.
  • Click the Add Custom Category button.
  • Type in the Custom Category Name (ex. For Profit or Non Profit).
  • Click the Add button.

2. Create the Pricing Tiers.

  • On this same page (Facility Reservation > Configurations > Pricing Tiers), click the Add Pricing Tier button.
  • Type in the Pricing Tier Name.
  • Select Custom from the Pricing Tier Type dropdown.
  • Click the Add button.
  • You are now on the Edit Pricing Tier page.
  • Click the Add Custom Category button.
  • Select the Pricing Tier Custom Category items from the dropdown that you want to be available for this Pricing Tier.
  • Click Available For All? if you want this Pricing Tier Custom Category available for all of your customers.  Don't click the checkbox if you only want this Pricing Tier Custom Category available for customers that you have assign this Pricing Tier Custom Category to (you will be able to do this on the Customers > Account Management > Account Overview page for any customer).

3. Add this Pricing Tier to a Facility.

  • Go to Facility Reservation > Facilities.
  • Go to the Availability tab of your facility.
  • Click the Set Availability button.
  • Select the appropriate Date(s) and Time.
  • Select the Pricing Tier you just created from the dropdown.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Click the Reservation tab.
  • Scroll down and in the Fee Schedule section, click the Add Pricing Tier button.
  • Select the Pricing Tier you just created from the dropdown.
  • Select the appropriate Calculation from the dropdown.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Type in the Security Deposit and Cost fields.
  • Click the Save button.

4. Add a Pricing Tier Category to a customer.

  • Go to Customers > Account Management > Search.
  • Once you are on the Account Overview page of your customer, scroll down to the Reservation Pricing Accommodations section.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Select the appropriate Pricing Tier Custom Category from the dropdown.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Now when this customer places an order to rent your facility, they will be able to have the adjusted pricing vs the standard pricing.
