When creating a report, you may see field names with prefixes such as (e), (es), (t), (c), (c+), or (a).
These prefixes identify the type or source of the field and can help you determine which field to select when building your report.
Report Field Types
(e) Enrollment Field
(e) identifies an Enrollment Field.
These fields collect information as part of the enrollment process and are associated with the enrollment itself.
Example:
(e) Birthday(e) Shirt Size
Use Enrollment Fields when you need information collected directly through the enrollment process.
(es) Enrollment Section
(es) identifies an Enrollment Section that pulls information from a Custom Section.
These fields are used when a Custom Section has been included as part of the enrollment process.
Example:
(es) Emergency Contact(es) Medical Information
Use Enrollment Section fields when you need information collected through a Custom Section included in the enrollment.
(t) Terms and Conditions
(t) identifies Terms and Conditions fields.
These fields provide information related to the Terms and Conditions associated with an enrollment.
Example:
(t) Waiver Accepted(t) Terms and Conditions
Use Terms and Conditions fields when you need to report on a customer's response to or acceptance of terms.
(c) Custom Field
(c) identifies a Custom Field.
These are Custom Fields configured by the organization and may be used to collect additional information about an enrollee or enrollment.
Example:
(c) School(c) Player Number(c) Virtus Database ID
Use Custom Fields when you need information stored in a standard Custom Field.
(c+) Custom Extended Field
(c+) identifies a Custom Extended Field.
Custom Extended Fields provide access to Custom Field data from related or extended records, such as a parent or customer associated with the enrollment.
This can be useful when the Custom Field belongs to a related person rather than the enrollee.
Example:
If a Custom Field is associated with a parent/customer on an account rather than the person enrolled in the program, the corresponding (c+) Custom Extended Field may be available in the report to access that related person's information.
Note: Custom Extended Fields may not appear in the standard Custom Fields configuration area because they are used to access data from related or extended records.
(a) Add-On
(a) identifies an Add-On.
These fields provide information about Add-Ons associated with an enrollment.
Example:
(a) Add-On Name(a) Add-On Amount
Use Add-On fields when you need to report on products, items, or other Add-Ons associated with an enrollment.
Which Field Should I Use?
When selecting fields for a report, consider where the information is stored and whose information you need.
| Prefix | Field Type | Use When |
|---|---|---|
| (e) | Enrollment Field | Reporting on information collected as part of the enrollment |
| (es) | Enrollment Section | Reporting on information collected through a Custom Section |
| (t) | Terms and Conditions | Reporting on Terms and Conditions information |
| (c) | Custom Field | Reporting on a standard Custom Field |
| (c+) | Custom Extended Field | Reporting on a Custom Field belonging to a related/extended record |
| (a) | Add-On | Reporting on Add-Ons associated with the enrollment |
Important
The report field list may include all available fields, even when a particular field does not contain data for the enrollments included in your report.
If you see multiple fields with similar names, check the field prefix to determine the type and source of the data before selecting the field.
