AI Auto Resolve sends an AI service only the schedule details it needs to place games. It doesn't send information about your players, families, or coaches. Standard Auto Resolve doesn't use an AI service at all.
What AI Auto Resolve sends
- Team names and location names, as you entered them
- The weekday, start time, and week number of each time slot, and today's date
- Which games have conflicts, and which time slots are open
- Your Game Settings limits, the division's Game Spacing, and the minimum time between games for coaches with more than one team
- Internal ID numbers for games and time slots
Team and location names are sent exactly as they appear in TeamSideline. If a team is named after a person or a sponsor, that name is included.
What it doesn't send
- Names, email addresses, or phone numbers of players, parents, guardians, or coaches
- Player ages or registration details
- Your organization, league, or division names
- The calendar dates of your games
How the results are checked
The AI service suggests moves, and TeamSideline checks each one against your schedule before you see the result. A move is dropped if it would:
- Move a locked, played, or cancelled game
- Use a holiday, a closed location, or a week you blocked
- Put two games in the same time slot
- Break your games-per-day or per-week limits, or a team or coach rule that your Optimization Priorities don't let give way
Then you review the proposed schedule and approve or reject it. If a game in the schedule already has a result, the checked changes are saved without a proposal. The schedule's alerts aren't run on the proposal, so check them after you approve.
Who can see it
The proposed schedule is shown on your division's 4 Create Schedule page. TeamSideline keeps a record of each AI Auto Resolve run, including what was sent and what came back, so support can investigate problems. Only TeamSideline staff can see these records.
