When an Auto Resolve run ends, TeamSideline tells only the person who started it. That person gets an email and, for successful runs, a one-time notice on the Admin Site Map.
| Notice | When you get it | What it says |
|---|---|---|
| Email: "Auto Resolve Complete" | The run finished, with or without a proposed schedule waiting for you | "(League) (Division) Auto Resolve has completed." |
| Email: "Auto Resolve Unable to Complete" | The run failed. Your schedule wasn't changed | "(League) (Division) Auto Resolve has completed. The Auto Resolve was unable to complete. If you continue to experience this issue, please contact support@teamsideline.com." |
| Admin Site Map notice | The next time you open the Admin Site Map after a successful run | "(League) (Division) Auto Resolve has completed." |
Read the completion notices carefully
"Auto Resolve has completed" doesn't tell you whether your schedule changed. Open the division's 4 Create Schedule page to see what happened:
- A proposed schedule is waiting. Approve or reject it. See How to review an Auto Resolve proposed schedule.
- The changes were saved. This happens when a game in the schedule already had a result. Review the schedule.
- Nothing changed. Auto Resolve found nothing it could fix.
The failure email also starts with "has completed." The run didn't finish, and nothing appears on the schedule page.
When you don't get a notice
- Canceled runs don't send an email or a Site Map notice.
- Failed runs send the email, but there's no Site Map notice.
- Approving or rejecting a proposed schedule doesn't send anything.
- Other admins don't get notices for runs you start.
A run that stops because of a TeamSideline service problem may not send anything. If the page no longer says the run is processing and you got no email, check the schedule. Contact support@teamsideline.com if Auto Resolve didn't finish.
About the Site Map notice
The notice is a green message on the Admin Site Map. It shows once: after you see it, it won't appear again. Click the X to close it.
Email tips
- Emails go to the email address in your user profile, from your organization's name.
- If you don't see an email, check your spam or junk folder, and make sure the email address in your profile is correct.
- If you get "Auto Resolve Unable to Complete" more than once for the same division, contact support@teamsideline.com with the league and division.
