Sign in to the Payrix portal at payments.teamsideline.com with the Payrix username and password created on your organization's Payrix merchant application. It's a separate login: your TeamSideline email and password don't work there, and changing your TeamSideline password doesn't change it. If you've forgotten the password, reset it from the portal's sign-in page. If you don't know the username, TeamSideline Support can look it up.
Applies to: The person who manages your organization's Payrix account, usually the treasurer · All plans · Organizations that take card payments through Payrix
Where: payments.teamsideline.com (the Payrix portal); in TeamSideline, Administration > Subscription > Payment Gateways > Manage opens it
Sign in to the Payrix portal
- Go to payments.teamsideline.com. Or, in TeamSideline, go to Administration > Subscription > Payment Gateways and click Manage on your gateway. The portal opens in a new browser tab.
- Enter your Payrix username. It was created on the merchant application, it can't be an email address, and it isn't your TeamSideline sign-in.
- Enter your Payrix password and sign in.
- If the portal asks for a verification code, enter the code it sends you.
The first time you sign in after Payrix approves your account, confirm your email address and turn on the email alerts for deposits (disbursements) and chargebacks.
Reset your Payrix password
- Go to payments.teamsideline.com.
- On the sign-in page, choose the forgot-password option.
- Follow the prompts. Have your Payrix username ready.
- Open the email from Payrix and set a new password.
The email goes to the address on your Payrix account, and a reset works only once that address has been confirmed. If you never confirmed it, ask TeamSideline Support to resend the Payrix confirmation email first. Resetting your TeamSideline password, or an admin resetting it for you, doesn't change your Payrix password.
See whose Payrix account it is
Go to Administration > Subscription > Payment Gateways. Each gateway shows your legal name and the name you do business as, your Payrix merchant ID, the account's Contact and Contact Email, the organization it belongs to, and whether it's Connected. The Contact is the person the Payrix account is under. The page shows only for admins with the Billing role; to change the Contact, contact TeamSideline Support.
Give other people access
- Each Payrix account has one owner login, held by the person who applied. Don't share it.
- Other people can get deposit and chargeback emails without a login. The owner adds their addresses to the portal's Email Alerts, and TeamSideline sends chargeback notices to the addresses in Programs > Configurations > General > Chargeback Copy To.
- Admins can review payments in TeamSideline instead of the portal: Reports > Report Viewer (Settlements - Payrix, Settlements By Date Range - Payrix) and Reports > Report Exports (Settlement Detail, Settlement Item Detail, Settlement Item Split Detail).
- If someone else needs to look at the portal itself, TeamSideline Support can add them as a view-only user.
- When the owner steps down, change your Payrix administrator (see the related article below). The Payrix login and your TeamSideline admin access are separate, so that change doesn't add or remove admins on your site. You manage those at Administration > Manage Users.
If it doesn't work
- Your email address and password don't work. The portal signs in with your Payrix username, not your email address or your TeamSideline login. If you don't know the username, contact TeamSideline Support.
- The reset email doesn't arrive. Check your spam or junk folder. Then make sure the address on the account is confirmed: Support can resend the Payrix confirmation email. If that doesn't arrive either, Support can ask Payrix to verify your email address.
- The portal asks for a verification code you can't get, for example because the phone number or email address it uses has changed. Contact TeamSideline Support to reset the multi-factor authentication.
- You're told your portal access is turned off. Contact TeamSideline Support to turn it back on.
- The person who created the login has left your organization. The login belongs to that person. Change the Payrix administrator so the account moves to someone new.
- Payment Gateways shows "No Payment Gateways Available:" with "Please contact us to add a Payment Gateway to your site to enable credit card processing." Your site has no card payment gateway yet, or your admin access is limited to associated organizations that don't own one. Contact TeamSideline Support.
- You don't see Payment Gateways under Administration > Subscription. It shows only for admins with the Billing role. Go straight to payments.teamsideline.com instead.
Good to know
- TeamSideline Support never knows your Payrix password and will never ask you for it. Support can look up your username, resend the confirmation email, reset multi-factor authentication and turn portal access back on, and may ask you to confirm that you're the account holder first.
- If your organization has more than one Payrix account with TeamSideline, Support can link them so one login reaches all of them.
- You don't need the portal for everyday reporting: the settlement reports in TeamSideline show your deposits and the payments in each one.
