The system does not automatically send out reminders for Customer Account Balances.
However, you can create a Communication Template reminding customers to pay their balance. Then select the "Customers with a Balance" option on the Send Communication page to send reminder emails which can be scheduled to go out on a specific date and time.
To Create a Communication Template:
- Go to Communications > Communication Templates.
- Click the Add Communications Template button.
- For Subject, enter the Subject of the email. For example, "Reminder of Account Balance."
- Create the Template that will be sent to customers with a balance.
- Click the Save button when satisfied.
To Send Communication Template to Customers with an Account Balance:
- Go to Communications > Send Communication.
- For Customer Accounts, click the arrow to expand.
- Select the "All Accounts with Balance" option to send reminders to all of your customers with a balance.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Retrieve Template button to choose the Template created for reminding customers about their account balance.
- Click Send Now if you want the email sent out immediately.
To Schedule the Customer with an Account Balance email:
- Go to Communications > Send Communication.
- For Customer Accounts, click the arrow to expand.
- Select the "All Accounts with Balance" option to send reminders to all of your customers with a balance.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Retrieve Template button to choose the Template created for reminding customers about their account balance.
- Click the Next button.
- For Delay Sending Until, select the Date and Time you would like the emails to be sent out to the customers with account balances.
- Click the Send button to send the email on the set day and time.
