On Schedules > Leagues & Divisions, click Update League Order, choose the season and click Update, then drag the leagues into the order you want. Each drop is saved at once. Your public website lists that season's leagues in this order, for example in the left sidebar's schedules.
Applies to: Admins who can add leagues and divisions (Schedules editing) · All plans · Leagues in each season on Schedules > Leagues & Divisions
Where: Schedules > Leagues & Divisions > Update League Order
Change the league order
- Go to Schedules > Leagues & Divisions.
- Click Update League Order. The Update League Order page opens: "Use this page to edit the league order as displayed on the public left sidebar."
- In Season, choose the season whose leagues you want to order, for example Spring 2026.
- Click Update. The season's leagues are listed in their current order.
- Drag a league by the handle at the left of its row and drop it above or below another league.
- Repeat until the leagues are in the order you want.
What you'll see: the list redraws in the new order after each drop. There's no Save button; each drop is saved right away.
Where the order shows
- Your public website's schedule lists: the schedules in the left sidebar and the Game Schedules page list each season's leagues in this order, with each league's divisions under it. Seasons are listed newest first, and each season has its own order.
- Editor 2.0 (CMS) websites: the schedule list your site gets from TeamSideline follows the same order. It can take a few minutes to change.
- Not on Leagues & Divisions: that admin page always lists leagues alphabetically, whatever their order on your website.
Change the order of divisions in a league
- Go to Schedules > Leagues & Divisions.
- Drag a division by the handle at the left of its row and drop it above or below another division in the same league.
Your website lists the league's divisions in this order. Take care where you drop: a division dropped on a row of a different league moves into that league.
Lists that stay alphabetical
Schedules > Leagues & Divisions always lists leagues alphabetically. In a list that sorts by name like this, a number at the start of a name changes its place, for example 1 Sunday and 2 Monday (or 01 and 02 when there are ten or more). A new name shows everywhere, your public website included, so for the order on your website use Update League Order instead.
If it doesn't work
- There's no Update League Order button. It shows only for admins who can edit leagues and divisions, the same admins who see Add League and Add Division. Ask your organization's main admin to add Schedules access to your admin role.
- A league isn't in the list. Check the Season: each season is ordered on its own. Archived leagues aren't listed.
- Leagues & Divisions still shows the old order. That's expected: it lists leagues alphabetically. Check your public website instead.
- A league added later is out of place. A new league has no place in the order yet, so your website lists it after the season's ordered leagues, while Update League Order lists it first. Drag it into place.
- Your Editor 2.0 website still lists the leagues alphabetically. Wait a few minutes and reload the page. If the order still doesn't change, contact TeamSideline Support.
Good to know
- The order is set per season, so set it again for each new season's leagues.
- Moving a league in the list changes only the order. Its divisions, schedules and settings stay the same.
