To schedule double headers, set Games per Week/Team to 2 on the division's 1 Configuration > Scheduling page and choose a 2 Game Configuration: Double Header/Different Team, where each team plays two different opponents, or Double Header/Same Team, where two teams play each other twice in a row. Their time slots and the way Create builds them differ, so each has its own step-by-step article, listed below.
Applies to: Admins and schedulers · All plans · League divisions (Division Type Standard)
Where: Schedules > Leagues & Divisions > (division) > 1 Configuration > Scheduling > Games per Week/Team and 2 Game Configuration
Which setting to choose
| 2 Game Configuration | Each week | Time slots on 3 Time Slots | How Create builds it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Double Header/Different Team | Each team plays two different opponents, usually back to back | One per team, all Game 1 (Create needs at least twice half the teams, rounded down) | Only from a saved pattern that matches the teams, games and time slots |
| Double Header/Same Team | Two teams play each other twice in a row, home and away switched | At least half the teams, rounded down, as Game 1 and the same number as Game 2, paired in list order | Automatically |
| Different Days (not a double header) | Each team plays two different opponents, usually on different days | At least half the teams, rounded down, as Game 1 and as Game 2 | Automatically; Rest Period (minimum days between games) flags games that are too close with an RP warning |
With an odd number of teams, Double Header/Different Team asks you to choose Schedule Byes or All Teams Play Every Week on 3 Time Slots. With Double Header/Same Team, one team has a bye each week. Games Played/Team counts both games of a double header.

Good to know
- Double headers are part of every current plan. If the 2 Game Configuration list shows "Double Headers (Not enabled.)", contact TeamSideline support.
- Create also needs a Day of First Game and at least 2 teams. If there's no Create button, see the first related article.
