A Master Schedule page lists the games, playoff games and practices from all of your visible divisions in one place, one week at a time, and visitors can filter it by team, sport, location, event type and start time. On a website built with the legacy content editor, you add it as a standard page on Content > Configurations > Site Pages.
Applies to: Admins · Enhanced, Elite and Enterprise plans · Legacy content editor (Editor 2.0 websites use the Master Schedule widget instead)
Where: Content > Configurations > Site Pages
Add the Master Schedule page
- Go to Content > Configurations > Site Pages.
- Right-click Menu Pages. To put the page in a drop-down menu, right-click that page group instead.
- Point to Add Standard Page and click Master Schedule.
- Drag the new Master Schedule page to where you want it on your menu. To give its tab a different name, double-click it and type the new name.
- Click Save.
- Open your website and click Master Schedule on the menu to check it.
What you'll see: "The changes to your menus have been saved." The Master Schedule tab is on your website's menu, and visitors don't need to sign in to use it.
What visitors see
The page opens with its filters and no list. Visitors set the filters and click Update to show the events, and click Update again after they change the week or a filter.
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Week | One week, Monday to Sunday, for example 10/12/2026 - 10/18/2026. The list covers about six months before and after today, and the arrow buttons step back or forward one week. There's no month view. |
| Earliest Start Time and Latest Start Time | Only events that start between these times. They're set to 12:00 AM and 11:00 PM until a visitor changes them. |
| Team | One or more teams (all teams if none is checked). Visitors can type to search. Each team is listed with its league and division. |
| Sport | One or more sports. The list includes every sport TeamSideline supports, not only yours. |
| Location | One or more of your locations. |
| Event Type | All, Games, Practices or Tournaments. |
The events are grouped by day and then by location. Each row shows the time (the start time and an end time based on the division's game spacing), Location, Division, the Home and Away teams, Event Type and Comments. A team's name opens that team's schedule on its division's page. Scores show for divisions whose Show Scores is Yes, and canceled games are crossed out. "No activities found." means nothing matches the week and filters.
What's on the Master Schedule
- Games: from divisions whose eye icon on Schedules > Leagues & Divisions is on (green or yellow), in current leagues. Regular-season, 2nd Half and tournament pool play games show as Game.
- Tournaments: playoff and bracket games, from league playoff schedules and tournament brackets. They show as Tournament.
- Practices: from those divisions' practice schedules (4 Create Schedule > Practice), with the team under Home.
- Not included: byes, divisions in archived leagues, and schedules shared with you by another organization.
If it doesn't work
- Master Schedule isn't listed under Add Standard Page. The page is already in your site structure (each standard page can be added once, so look for it in the Site Pages tree, usually under Menu Pages or a page group), or your plan or admin role doesn't include Master Schedule. It's on the Enhanced, Elite and Enterprise plans; to add it, contact TeamSideline Support at support@teamsideline.com.
- "You cannot add this tab here because the menu doesn't support more then three levels." Your menu can be three levels deep. Right-click a page group one level higher, or Menu Pages.
- There's no Site Pages page on your Content menu. Your website uses Editor 2.0, or your admin role doesn't include Site Pages. On Editor 2.0, add the Master Schedule widget in the Site Editor instead (see the CMS article under Related articles).
- "No activities found." Check the week and filters, then click Update. Check that the divisions' eye icons are on and that their leagues aren't archived.
- One division's games are missing. Its eye icon is red ("Schedule Not Visible"), or its league is archived. The Master Schedule follows the division's main eye: a division whose only visible schedule is its 2nd Half isn't included.
- The Team list includes old teams. It lists every team in your current leagues, including divisions whose schedules are hidden. Archive last season's leagues to take their teams off the list.
- Games show that a division's own page hides. The Master Schedule doesn't use a division's display settings such as Show # of Sched. Wks, Show Game Section, Show Practice Section or Show Canceled Games (canceled games show crossed out). To keep a division off the Master Schedule, turn off its eye icon.
Good to know
- The Comments column shows the comments saved on each game in your admin site (such as the comment box under a game on 4 Create Schedule) and on each practice. Anyone can see them, so keep private notes out of them.
- The page has no print or download button. For a list of all games you can print or open in a spreadsheet, export the Games report.
- On an Editor 2.0 website, the Master Schedule widget shows the same kinds of events, up to seven days at a time.
