This article will explain the steps to create All-Star teams in the system and navigate through the teams and requirements in the system using the USA Softball Registration Portal Page in TeamSideline.
If you don't see the "MANAGE PROGRAMS" option in your League Admin Access, please contact your local USA Softball Administrator. These options will not be provided to you until USA Softball gives you the All-Star access in the system. This will be done when all current season invoices are paid.
Login to the USA Softball Registration Portal Page, do not use your own TeamSideline League Site.

CREATING ALL-STAR TEAMS

Navigate to the Rosters Page
- Navigate to Programs > Manage Programs
- Click on the
icon all the way to the right
- Click on Assign to Roster

Add Team Names
- Click Blue +Add Team Button
- Enter Division Name = All Members
- Team Name = 8u League Name - Gold
- Associated Org = Prefilled in
- Click Add Team
Repeat this to create the names for all your All-Star teams you plan to field.

Assign Players to Roster
- Scroll down on the page to the Select Enrollees Section
- Click the
icon next to the All Members on the Right Side of Page to show a list of your teams.
- Option A: Drag & Drop players onto the team from the left column into the team.
- Option B: Toggle Mode, Click & Select all players then Assign to the team using the drop down selections.
Tip: You can click Add Filter and filter by Offering or Age As of to shorten your list or you can use the Search to search by first or last name.
- Click the
icon next to the team name to see the team members you have added.

Assign Coaches to Roster
- Repeat the process from step 4 to add coaches.
Tip: The first coach you add to the team will be the primary contact and be listed in parentheses after the team name automatically and be the contact person added to the Championship Roster.
- Repeat the process from step 4 to add coaches.
REVIEWING DOCUMENTS

Reviewing Required Items
- Navigate to Programs > Manage Programs
- Click on the
icon all the way to the right
- Click the 4 Rosters Tab at the Top of the page
- Click on the team
- Click on the player's name
- Hover over the spy glass to the right of the page in the Field Value column
- If the required item looks correct, click the Status icon
and turn from red to green

Editing or Adding Required Items
- Navigate to Programs > Manage Programs
- Click on the
icon all the way to the right
- Click the 4 Rosters Tab at the Top of the page
- Click on the team
- Click on the player's name
- To Add/Edit the Birth Certificate - Click Edit > Update Birth Certificate
- To Add/Edit the Photo - Click Photo and update the Enrollment Image
PRINTING DOCUMENTS

Print Championship Roster (Note: If you don't have access to this, it is because your USA Softball Admin has turned it off until your requirements are met).
- Navigate to Programs > Manage Programs
- Click on the
icon all the way to the right
- Click the 4 Rosters Tab at the Top of the page
- Click the Print Icon to the Right of the page
- Print out double-sided and have each parent sign.
- Page 1: Fill Out the Manager Affidavit
- Page 1: Leave the USA Softball Commissioner Statement Blank

Page 2: Have each parent sign and initial their player's line

Print Member Passes
- Navigate to Programs > Manage Programs
- Click on the
icon all the way to the right
- Click the 4 Rosters Tab at the Top of the page

Click the Print Member Passes Button at the top of the page
Tip: Every parent can access their own player passes in their account on the portal page.

Print Photo Roster
- Navigate to Programs > Manage Programs
- Click on the
icon all the way to the right
- Click the 4 Rosters Tab at the Top of the page
- Click the Print Photo Roster Button at the top of the page
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS

Navigate to the USA Softball Registration Portal Page

- Click Sign In in Top Left Corner of Page

Enter Your Email & Password
Tip: If your league already uses TeamSideline, it is the same email address and password to get into this site. If your league doesn't use TeamSideline, click forgot my password and follow prompts. You must use the same email used to register your child originally with your league. - Click the Blue Edit Enrollments Button
- Find the child that made All-Stars and click the edit icon
- Click on the Childs Name

Birth Certificate - Click Select and follow prompts then click Save.
Tip: USA Softball accepts Birth Certificates, Baptismal Certificate or Passports -
Go to Photo Tab - Click Select and follow prompts then click Save. You must hit the "crop" option in order to complete the process.
Tip: Make sure that it is a clear headshot. No hats, sunglasses or action shots.
Once you have completed the birth certificate and photo, you don't have to do anything else. It will be submitted to USA Softball to be reviewed and approved.
