Every Raise donation page has share buttons for copying the link, Facebook, X, and email. The thank-you page offers the same buttons, so each donor can pass the campaign along.
Get the link
- Crowdfunding: on the Raise Dashboard, click the View Public Page icon next to an active campaign, then use Copy link on the page.
- Peer-to-Peer: each player has their own link, sent in the invitation email. Administrators can open any player's page from Reports > Report Dashboards > Raise P2P with View Donation Page. Peer-to-Peer campaigns have no campaign-wide link.
Raise links are long and start with TeamSideline's web address, not your website's. Always copy them with the Copy link button or from the address bar rather than retyping them.
The share buttons
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Copy link | Copies the page's link. The button briefly changes to "Copied!" |
| Opens a Facebook post with the link | |
| X | Opens a post on X with the link and the campaign name |
| Opens a new email with the campaign name as the subject and the link in the message |
On a donation page, the buttons appear under the supporters with the caption "Share this fundraiser," but only while the page is taking donations. On the thank-you page, they sit under "Know someone else who would want to help? Share [campaign] with them." A donor who gave on a player's page shares that player's page.
What a shared link looks like
On social media and in messaging apps, the preview shows:
- The campaign name, or "Emma is fundraising for Spring Uniforms" for a player's page.
- The start of your campaign description, or your subtitle if there's no description.
Previews don't include an image, so a short personal message with your post helps it stand out.
Tips
- Put the link on your website and in newsletters, team emails, and social posts.
- Share at launch, midway, and a few days before the end date.
- Ask donors to use the share buttons on the thank-you page.
- To make a QR code for flyers, paste the link into any QR code generator.
