The eye icon next to each division on Schedules > Leagues & Divisions shows whether its schedule is on your public website: gray means there's no schedule yet, red means it's hidden, green means everyone can see it, and yellow means only part of it shows. Click the eye to show or hide the schedule.
Applies to: Admins and schedulers · All plans (Update Multiple Divisions: Enhanced, Elite and Enterprise) · League and tournament divisions

The main eye
Point to the eye to see its tooltip.
| Color | Tooltip | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Gray | Schedule Not Created | The division has no regular-season, playoff or practice schedule yet, and it hasn't been set to visible. |
| Red | Schedule Not Visible - click to make schedule visible on your public page | The schedule exists but is hidden. A division you add starts hidden, so its eye turns red when you create the schedule. |
| Green | Schedule Visible - click to remove schedule from your public page | The whole schedule is visible. |
| Yellow | Schedule Partially Visible | Visible, but Show # of Sched. Wks on 1 Configuration > Display limits it to the first weeks. |
| Yellow | Schedule Not Visible - click to make schedule visible on your public page | Visible, but Show Game Section is No on 1 Configuration > Display, so the division's page shows without its games. |
The 2nd Half eye
A division whose schedule types include 2nd Half has a second eye for the 2nd Half schedule. It's gray while that schedule is hidden ("2nd Half Schedule Not Visible - click to make schedule visible on your public page") or not created yet ("2nd Half Schedule Not Created"), green when it's visible ("2nd Half Schedule Visible - click to remove schedule from your public page"), and yellow ("Schedule Partially Visible") when Show Game Section is No.
Where visibility applies
- Your website: a division is listed with your schedules, and its page opens, only while one of its eyes is on (green or yellow). When both are off, a saved link to it shows "The League Administrator has de-activated the Standings & Schedule for the Division you have linked to."
- Team Sites and the TeamSideline app: on teams whose sites carry the league schedule, upcoming regular-season and playoff games appear only while the main eye is on, and only for the weeks Show # of Sched. Wks allows. 2nd Half games follow the 2nd Half eye. Games that are no longer Not played (played, forfeited, canceled or being scored) appear either way, and linked practices aren't affected.
- Find Schedules to Add: team staff who link your league's schedule to their own team site can find a division only while it's visible.
The eye doesn't put a schedule on Team Sites by itself: each team's schedule is published on the program's 5 Team Sites page. See Why isn't my schedule showing on my website, Team Sites, or the app?
Show or hide a division's schedule
- Go to Schedules > Leagues & Divisions.
- Find the division in its league's list.
- Click its eye. A red eye turns green (or yellow), and a green or yellow eye turns red. The 2nd Half eye switches between gray and green the same way.
What you'll see: the eye changes color at once. Open your website to check the division's schedule.
Turn a yellow eye green
- Click the division's Edit Division icon (pencil).
- Click 1 Configuration, then Display.
- Set Show Game Section to Yes and Show # of Sched. Wks to All.
- Click Save.
What you'll see: "Division configuration updated." Back on Leagues & Divisions, the eye is green. Don't click a yellow eye to fix it: that hides the whole division.
If it doesn't work
- Clicking the eye does nothing. Your admin role doesn't include managing schedules, so the eye is turned off. Ask an Administrator to change it or to update your role.
- There's no 2nd Half eye. The division's schedule types on 1 Configuration > Scheduling don't include 2nd Half, or your role doesn't include managing schedules.
- The eye is green but families don't see games on their team site or in the app. The schedule hasn't been published to those team sites, or the games are in a TBD time slot. See Why isn't my schedule showing on my website, Team Sites, or the app?
- The eye is green but the division isn't listed on your website. On sites that have it, Hide Schedule Link is Yes on 1 Configuration > Display ("Select "Yes" to hide the default link in the left sidebar and public Schedules page."). The division's page still opens from a direct link.
Good to know
- Creating a schedule never makes it visible. After you click Create, 4 Create Schedule reminds you: "Your schedule will not be visible until you click the Leagues & Division page green visibility icon."
- A gray eye can be clicked too. The division is then set to visible ahead of time, and its schedule shows as soon as you create it.
- Hiding a schedule doesn't change or delete it, and you can show it again at any time.
- On the Enhanced, Elite and Enterprise plans, Update Multiple Divisions on Leagues & Divisions (Update Type: Visibility) sets First Half and Second Half to Visible, Not Visible or No Change for many divisions at once. Divisions without a schedule are skipped.
- On the same plans, each change is recorded in the Activity Log (Administration > Manage Users > Activity Log) as Visible or Not Visible.
