How to add a Misc-Credit to a customer's account


How to add Misc-Credit:

  • From the Admin Site Map, go to the Account Management > Search page.
  • Input customers name and click the Search button.
      • If they do not have an Account, click the Add Account button to create one.
  • Click on the correct customer's name from the returned list to go to the Account Overview page.
  • Click the Add Transaction button on the Account Overview page.
  • For Transaction Type, select Misc-Credit.
  • For Amount, enter the desired amount.
  • Add any Comments you want associated with this transaction (remember the customer can see this field).
  • To reconcile this credit to a debit transaction (ie. order, refund, credit), type in the Amount To Apply.
  • Click the Add button.
