TeamSideline uses Payrix as our payment processor. To protect your organization from fraud and chargebacks, there are rules in place that automatically block suspicious activity. These rules are especially important to stop “card testing,” where fraudsters try many stolen card numbers to see which ones are valid.
Most of the time, you won’t notice these protections working. However, in rare cases, a legitimate customer may be blocked if their activity looks too similar to fraud.
What to Do if You’re Affected
If customers report payment issues, please contact support@teamsideline.com.
We will review the activity, confirm if it was fraud protection, and work with you to restore normal operations quickly.
If it was a legitimate surge in activity (for example, many families registering at the same time), we can adjust things to reduce the chance of false alarms in the future.
These rules protect your league and your customers. While they may occasionally block legitimate transactions, they stop fraudulent charges before they can impact your organization.
