The Admin Site Map is the starting page for admins in TeamSideline. It's a list of links to every function your organization has, grouped into categories such as Customers, Facility Reservation, Programs, Schedules, and Communications. This article explains how to sign in so the Admin Site Map opens, how to use it, and what to do if you don't see it.
Step 1: Sign in as an admin (not as a parent or coach)
Your site has two separate sign-in links. If you use the regular customer Sign In (the parent/coach sign-in), the User Site Map opens instead, showing options like My Profile, Members, and Order History. To open the Admin Site Map:
- Go to your organization's public home page (the page with your logo).
- Look in the upper right corner. If it says Sign Out, click Sign Out first.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Admin Sign In (some sites label it ADMIN LOGIN). It's in the bottom right corner.
- Enter your admin email address and password.
The Admin Site Map opens after you sign in.
Step 2: Get back to the Admin Site Map at any time
Once you're signed in as an admin, click the Home icon to return to the Admin Site Map from any admin page.
For a Legacy Content Site, If you're signed in as an admin and go to your public home page, an Admin Site Map link appears in the upper right corner. Click it to go back to the admin side.
For the New Editor Content Site, If you're signed in as an admin and go to your public home page, an Admin Sign In link appears in the bottom right corner. Click it to go back to the admin side.
Step 3: Use the Admin Site Map
- Find a feature: Look in the category that matches what you want to do (for example, Schedules to create a schedule, or Communications to send an email). Click the link to open that feature.
- Get help and training: Click Help in the upper right corner of the Admin Site Map and select Online Training to watch recorded sessions, including "How to Navigate TeamSideline."
- Features you don't have: The Admin Site Map only shows the modules your organization has. If you want a feature you don't see, contact sales@teamsideline.com for more information or a demo.
- Add your own admin-only links: For Legacy sites, under Content > Configurations > Sidebar Links, you can add a section with Admin Site Map selected as the Display Location. That section then shows on the Admin Site Map for all admins. For details, see How to Setup Admin Secured Pages.
Troubleshooting
- You only see My Account, Cart, and Sign Out: You either signed in through the customer Sign In link or your account doesn't have admin access. Sign out and use Admin Sign In at the bottom of the home page. If that still doesn't work, ask an existing admin in your organization to add you. See How do I add an Admin to our website?
- You're using the mobile app: The TeamSideline app doesn't have admin features. To reach the Admin Site Map, sign in through Admin Sign In on your organization's website in a web browser.
- You changed or merged your email and lost admin access: An admin's email can't be changed. Instead, have an existing admin add a new admin user with the new email address, then delete the old admin user.
- A category or feature disappeared: The Admin Site Map only shows modules that are turned on for your organization. If one was removed (for example, the Registration module), its links no longer appear. Contact support@teamsideline.com to check your site's setup.
