No. The AI Playbook tab is fixed to the right edge of every admin page, and there's no setting that lets you move, shrink or hide it. You can close the chat panel at any time, and if your organization doesn't want AI Playbook at all, TeamSideline Support can turn it off for the whole organization.

Where: The AI Playbook tab on the right edge of every admin page
Where the tab is and why it stays put
- The tab is a dark blue strip halfway down the right edge of the window, with the words "AI Playbook" running vertically, a book icon and a small pulsing dot.
- It stays in the same place when you scroll and when you go from one admin page to another.
- It belongs to the admin site only. It doesn't appear on your organization's public website, on Team Sites, or on the pages families use to register and manage their accounts.
- On a phone or in a narrow browser window (768 pixels wide or less), the tab is smaller and shows only the words "AI Playbook".
- Nothing on the admin site moves, resizes or hides it. There is no personal preference, admin role setting or page setting for it.
How to close the panel and come back to it
- Close the panel: click × in its top-right corner, click the dimmed part of the page outside the panel, or press Esc on your keyboard.
- Keep working on the page. Closing only hides the panel; the tab stays on the right edge.
- To pick up where you left off, click the AI Playbook tab again. Your conversation is still there, even if you've moved to another admin page.
- To start a new conversation instead, click Start over (the circular arrow to the left of the message box).
What you'll see
- While the panel is open, it covers the right side of the page and the rest of the page is dimmed. On a phone, it fills almost the whole screen.
- After you close it, only the tab shows on the right edge, and the page is as you left it.
If it doesn't work
- The tab covers a button, link or column. The tab stays halfway down the right edge while the page scrolls under it, so scroll up or down a little to move that part of the page out from behind the tab.
- The open panel is in the way. Close it with ×, by clicking outside it, or with Esc. Your conversation is kept for when you open it again.
- There's no AI Playbook tab. AI Playbook isn't turned on for your organization, or you're on a page outside the admin site. Contact TeamSideline Support to ask about turning it on.
Good to know
- It's on or off for the whole organization. TeamSideline turns AI Playbook on for each organization. While it's on, every admin user of your organization sees the tab on admin pages, whatever their admin role. It can't be turned off for one admin, one role or one page.
- Only TeamSideline can turn it off. The setting isn't on any of your organization's configuration pages. To have AI Playbook turned off, or turned back on, contact TeamSideline Support.
- Suggestions are welcome. If a way to move or hide the tab would help you, tell TeamSideline Support.
- Signing out ends the conversation. When you sign in again, AI Playbook starts a new one.
- Keyboard. The tab is a button, so you can reach it with the Tab key and open it with Enter.
