Most of your team's information is in both the TeamSideline app and a web browser. Team chat and pitch counts are only in the app. Registration and registration payments, roster printouts, the forms your organization deploys to Team Sites and everything admins do are only on the web. Standings and member passes work in both, in different ways.

Notifications
- The app sends push notifications for chat messages. Allow notifications for the TeamSideline app in your phone's settings.
- Event reminders and schedule changes come by email, whether or not you use the app. Keep your email address current, and make sure TeamSideline's emails aren't going to spam.
Good to know
- The app and the website use the same TeamSideline account: sign in with the same email address and password.
- Posting announcements, links and files and adding events is for the team's staff (Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager, Team Parent and Site Coordinator). Parents and players read them.
- The website has no chat. Its Messages page lists notices from TeamSideline for you to acknowledge, so "No messages." there doesn't mean your team's chats are missing; they're in the app.
- On iPhone, the app's game details show the date, time, location and opponent. To see whether your team is home or visitor, check the Calendar or Home page on the website.
- Pitch counts work only for teams in a league division where your organization turned on Pitch Count. Teams created on TeamSideline.com don't have it.
- Neither the app nor the website has live, in-game scoring or video streaming.
- Admins see in the app only the teams they're on. Opening a Team Site from the admin site adds you as League Administrator, which doesn't put the team in your app.
