TeamSideline can display Jersey # and Jersey Size on supported Report Viewer reports, including:
- Basic Roster
- Safe Roster Report
- TeamSideline Game Card
- Scoresheets
Note: Jersey information configured using these options is available only on Report Viewer reports. It does not appear on Team Sites at this time.
Add Jersey Numbers
There are two ways to add jersey numbers.
Option 1: Collect During Registration (Recommended)
If players know their jersey number when they register, create an Enrollment Field with one of these names:
- Jersey #
- Jersey Number
- Jersey Numbers
- Shirt #
- Shirt Number
- Shirt Numbers
The value entered during registration will automatically appear on supported reports.
Notes
- If a Player Custom Field for Jersey # also exists, the Custom Field value is used instead.
- If multiple matching enrollment fields exist, the system uses the one that was created first. Use only one Jersey # enrollment field per organization.
Option 2: Import Jersey Numbers
If jersey numbers are assigned after registration, use a Player Custom Field.
Step 1: Create the Custom Field
Go to Administration > Configurations > Custom Fields and create:
- Field Name: Jersey #
- Field Type: Text
- Length: 2–3 characters
- Category: Player
Step 2: Export Players
Go to Reports > Reports Export and run either:
- Account Information, or
- Enrollment Information
Include Player ID - TeamSideline in the export.
Step 3: Import Jersey Numbers
- Go to Administration > Import Data.
- Download the Player Custom Field Import template.
- Add:
- Player ID - TeamSideline
- Jersey #
- Save the file and complete the import.
The jersey numbers will then appear on supported reports.
Add Jersey Sizes
Jersey sizes are collected the same way.
Create an Enrollment Field named one of the following:
- Jersey Size
- Jersey Sizes
- Shirt Size
- Shirt Sizes
The value entered during registration will automatically appear on supported reports.
Notes
- If a Jersey Size Player Custom Field exists, its value is used instead.
- If multiple matching enrollment fields exist, the first one created is used. Use only one Jersey Size enrollment field per organization.
View Jersey Information
Go to Reports > Report Viewer and run any supported report, such as:
- Basic Roster
- Safe Roster Report
- TeamSideline Game Card
- Scoresheets
These reports can display Player Name, Jersey #, and Jersey Size.
Basic Roster: Jersey # appears in the first column, and Jersey Size appears in the third column.
Adult (Parent) Jersey Numbers
If you also want jersey numbers for adults or parents:
- Create a Parent Custom Field named Jersey #.
- Type: Text
- Length: 2–3 characters
- Category: Parent
- Enter jersey numbers manually or import them in bulk using Administration > Import Data > Parent Custom Field Import.
- Parent jersey numbers will then appear on supported Report Viewer reports.
