Creating the Youth Player Registration Program (that will have data imported into)
- From Programs > Manage Programs, click add and select Youth Registration, then Next.
- From 1 Setup, add:
1) Program Name
2) Program Season
3) N/A in Program Description
4) the Program Duration dates (start/finish of season).
5) click the Save button. - From the 2 Configuration page, add:
1) Offerings (Regular Reg Fee can be zero, dates can be today's date)
2) Enrollment Fields to be used for Roster Assignment
3) Volunteer roles for Volunteer Import
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Offering name on the 2 Configuration page must be an exact match character for character with the Offering column data in the Enrollee Registration file.
Import Player Registration Data
How to prepare the file to be imported:
- Open your Excel file.
- Confirm the Enrollment Fields in your Registration Program match the "custom fields" you are importing.
- For example: Practice Day 1, Practice Day 2, T-shirt size.
- Note: Custom fields are data fields which are not part of the default account data (example: first name, last name, address, city, state, zip, phone, email).
- Rename any columns which do not exactly match the column names given in the Import Sample file.
- Sample files are located to the right of the Import. Click the Excel icon to view the sample file.
- Search and replace any commas with a space.
- Make sure the "Offering" column matches the Offerings in your Registration Program.
- Save the file as an MS-DOS CSV file.
How to Import the Enrollee Registration file into TeamSideline:
- Go to Adminstration > Import Data.
- Click on Enrollee Registration Import.
Import Volunteer Registration Data:

How to Import the Volunteer Registration file into TeamSideline:
- Go to Administration > Import Data.
- Click on Volunteer Registration Import.
