The system does not have an automated way to only allow certain people to be background checked. A workaround we recommend is to create a separate Youth Registration program for Background Checks and only send the link to the approved Coaches to register into that Program to trigger the background check.

First you will need to create a separate Youth Registration program for coach background checks and keep the visibility/highlight toggled off. In the Configuration tab of this Program, you will need to add an Access Code.

• Go to Programs > Manage Programs > Add Program. Create a Youth Registration Program called Background Checks. You can choose to set a long Program Duration so that you can use this for multiple Programs for coaches moving forward throughout the year. 
• Go to the 2 Configuration page of the Program and add a code under Program Access. 

Next, you will need to send the link to the desired coaches by selecting them through the Send Communication page and link the Access Code. Linking that code will send them the private registration link.
