Enrollment Fields let you collect additional information from enrollees during registration. Setting up an Enrollment Field is a two-step process: first create the field, then add it to a program.
First, create an Enrollment Field:
- Go to Programs > Configurations > Enrollment Fields.
- Click Add Enrollment Field.
- Input the desired data for the new Enrollment Field.
- Click Add.
Then, add the Enrollment Field to the Program:
- Go to Programs > Manage Programs and select the desired program.
- Click on the 2 Configuration tab and scroll down to Enrollment Fields.
- Click Add Enrollment Field.
- Input the desired data:
- Enrollment Field – the field you created.
- Enrollment Type – which enrollment type the field applies to (such as Player or Volunteer).
- Offering – which offering(s) the field applies to.
- New vs Returning – whether the field displays for new enrollees, returning enrollees, or both.
- Required – whether the enrollee must complete the field to enroll.
- Use Previous – whether the field pre-fills with the enrollee's answer from a previous enrollment.
- Can Be Edited – whether end users can update this field themselves after enrolling, from the Edit Enrollments page in their account. Select Yes to allow end users to edit the field, or No to lock it after enrollment.
- Click Add.
Note: Can Be Edited is only available upon request and depends on your subscription. If you would like this option enabled for your organization, contact support@teamsideline.com.
Note: When at least one Enrollment Field on a program is set to Can Be Edited = Yes, enrollees in that program will see an Edit Enrollments option in their account, where they can update the editable fields themselves using the steps here.
Note: You can change the Can Be Edited setting on an existing field at any time by clicking the edit (pencil) icon next to the field in the Enrollment Fields table. For example, if you want to allow editing during open registration and then lock the field, simply change Can Be Edited to No, now customers will no longer be able to update that field.
