Release Date: June 29, 2026
We've been busy building, and we're excited to share what's new in TeamSideline. This release includes some of our biggest updates yet, including AI-powered tools, smarter scheduling, new plan options, and more. Here's a look at what's now available in your account.
🌐 Content Editor 2.0
New Editor 2.0
We've been working hard behind the scenes, and we're excited to introduce Content Editor 2.0 — a faster, more powerful way to manage your organization's website.
With the new editor, your site looks better, loads faster, and is easier to update than ever before. Content Editor 2.0 gives your organization a more polished, professional web presence with less effort.
Current customers will be migrated to the new editor as part of a guided process — our team will be in touch when it's your turn.
📅 Scheduling
Faster, Smarter Conflict Resolution
Schedule conflict resolution now runs in the background, so you're no longer waiting on your browser to finish. You'll get an email notification when it's done — and you can cancel at any time.
AI-Powered Conflict Resolution (Beta)
We're introducing AI-enhanced conflict resolution to help leagues tackle even the most complex scheduling challenges. This feature is currently in beta — keep an eye out for more details.
Swap Teams on the Multi-Location Calendar
You can now swap teams directly from the Multi-Location Calendar edit box, making it faster to adjust games without jumping between pages.
Publish 3rd & 4th Playoff Rounds to Team Sites
Administrators can now publish third and fourth playoff schedules directly to team sites, so players and families always have the latest bracket info.
✅ Game Check-In & Workflows
Player & Staff Suspensions
A new suspension management tool lets you set a start date, expiration date, and reason for any suspension. Suspensions are displayed on App Member Passes across all sports.
Admin-Restricted Custom Fields
You now have the ability to lock specific custom fields so only designated admins can edit them — helpful for sensitive data like football player weight or other protected fields.
File Uploads Directly from the Workflow Page
If a workflow item is linked to a file-type custom field, you can now upload the file right from the workflow page without navigating away.
Audit Log for Custom Field Changes
The audit log now tracks before-and-after values whenever a custom field is updated, giving you a clear record of who changed what and when.
💳 Subscriptions & Plans
New Plan Tiers
We've introduced four new plans, replacing our current “Standard & Premium”. The new plans are: Core, Enhanced, Elite, and Enterprise. Customers will gradually be moved into the new plans based on their current functionality.
Invoice History on the Admin Page
Your subscription details, including invoice history with downloadable PDFs, are now available directly on the Admin Subscription page.
Plus a few other improvements worth noting:
- Registration is now fully keyboard-navigable and WCAG/ADA compliant
- Email addresses are validated before roster imports complete, catching errors early
- Jersey number and size now appear on the basic roster printout
- Coaches added via team registration now have roster edit access enabled by default
- Auto scoring emails can now be sent to all coaches assigned to a roster
As always, if you have questions about any of these features, our support team is here to help.
Thanks for being part of the TeamSideline community — we're excited to keep building tools that make running your league easier.
