We are excited to announce the next set of TeamSideline Enhancements, packed with features designed to save you time, many of them based on feedback from customers like you.
Background Check Filtering for Roster Assignment
For organizations using our integrated Background Check solution with Protect Youth Sports with the Background Check Status Filter enabled, TeamSideline now automatically filters out coaches who have not passed their background check from the Assign to Roster page.
Admins with background check roles retain visibility into the full list, and a clear on-screen note explains when coaches are being filtered.
More Playoff Brackets Available!
Divisions can now support up to 4 playoff brackets, giving administrators flexibility to structure playoffs exactly as their program requires.
Workflow
TeamSideline Workflow now supports a new "Approval" Workflow item.
Organizations can create different Approval Items named, for example, "League Approval” or “Region Approval” or "Football Commissioner" and then tie those Approval Items each to a specific Custom Admin Role. This means only Admins with the Custom Admin Role, are able to provide a final sign-off on Workflow items.
Once any Approval Item is marked complete (green), all other workflow tasks are locked unless the Approval is toggled back.
Approval status is visible in both Roster and Account Management summaries making the Approval status easy to see.
To give the Approval Workflow items more firepower, Workflows created at the Parent Organization level can now be shared to Associated Organization programs, including those with Approval Items. This means Parent Organizations with multiple Associated Sites no longer need to recreate the same workflow configurations for each site, ensuring the same Workflow process is used across all organizations associated to the Parent organization.
Enrollment Photo in Workflow
Enrollment Images for Players and Volunteers can now be tied directly to a Workflow Item, bringing photo collection and viewing into the same structured process as the rest of your registration requirements.
Publish Team Sites Without an Assigned Volunteer
Admins can now publish a Youth Registration Team Site without a Volunteer assigned to the Team. This allows players and parents to have immediate access to practice and game schedules in the app from Day One of a season.
Based on customer feedback, when a Team Site is published without a Volunteer, the App Team Chat feature will not be available.
Once a Volunteer is added to a Team, full Chat functions are available automatically.
You can configure Order data to be editable after Registration
Administrators can now designate certain Enrollment Fields used during Registration, as editable. This gives your members the ability to update registration information themselves, if you choose to allow it, without them having to go through you. The function includes enabling changes to the Enrollment Image which displays on Player and Coach Member Passes.
Meanwhile, Enrollment Fields that have not been marked as editable are kept out of view to keep the experience for members clean and straightforward.
Once you, an Administrator, are ready to lock things down, these editable Enrollment Fields can be locked and made not editable, putting your organization in complete control of when and what participants can change after they have registered.
The ability to have customers edit Enrollment Fields after they have registered is a Premium feature.
Auto Coach Scoring Improvements
The Auto Coach Scoring Custom Fields data on the Standings page has been redesigned for improved readability.
The information now displays in a clean side-by-side column layout on desktop and tablet, with a streamlined view on mobile, making it easier for admins and participants alike to scan and interpret scoring information at-a-glance.
To implement these enhancements, TeamSideline will be briefly unavailable from 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM Pacific on Monday, March 30th. Thank you for choosing TeamSideline to power your sports organization.
