The next set of TeamSideline enhancements will be available on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026. This release introduces our new fundraising module, Raise, along with AI-powered roster assignment, a refreshed admin portal, and much more.
Below are the highlights of the upcoming features:
Introducing TeamSideline Raise
Raise more money with less Admin Time
TeamSideline Raise lets you run fundraising campaigns without a separate platform. Raise supports two campaign types:
- Crowdfunding: Set a fundraising goal for your league and share a public donation page anyone can contribute to.
- Peer-to-Peer: Give individual players their own fundraising pages with personal and team goals including shareable links.
A campaign dashboard makes it easy to manage your fundraising, while leaderboards let you track progress by participant, team, or division. Donations run through your organization's existing payment gateway.
A Fresh Look for the Admin Portal
We've started refreshing the TeamSideline admin portal with a more modern, consistent design. Global navigation, the admin home page, typography, buttons, and related information cards have all been updated as part of this ongoing effort. This is just the start, we'll continue rolling out updates across more of the admin portal, with consistency and accessibility built into the process every step of the way.
AI-Powered Roster Assignment
Spend less time moving players and more time running your program.
Rosters now includes a new AI Auto-Assignment tab alongside the drag-and-drop view you already use, which remains the default. Admins can select and prioritize the criteria they want the automation to consider, including Age As Of, Gender, and Grade (with additional criteria coming soon) and apply those criteria across divisions or customize them by division. Criteria can be prioritized as Critical, High, Medium, or Low, giving you more control over how rosters are built. The automation also works to keep roster sizes balanced across teams. Once a roster proposal is generated, you can review and adjust the assignments before committing any changes, so your live rosters remain untouched until you're ready.
More Control Over Auto Resolve
Auto Resolve now gives you more control over automated scheduling. Configure minimum and maximum games per team per day and per week, and choose which scheduling conflict types Auto Resolve should prioritize when building your schedule.
Pay Invoices Directly from Your Subscription Page
Admins can now pay an outstanding subscription invoice right from the subscription page, connecting to the self-serve billing portal without a separate login. Complete payment and see your invoice marked as paid, all in one place.
A More Flexible Enrollment Dashboard
Manage your entire program from one place.
The Enrollment Dashboard has been improved to give admins more flexibility in how they view and manage their enrollments. You can now configure the dashboard to display the information that is most useful to your organization, including email address, phone number, role, and more. Whether you're reviewing participants, identifying coaches and board members, or managing enrollment details across your program, the customizable dashboard makes it easier to find the information you need and manage your program from one convenient view.
Text Opt-In During Account Creation and Editing
Members can now opt in to receive text messages as part of account creation, with the same option available when editing account details. Organizations can enable or disable this step to match their communication preferences.
Additional Improvements
- Workflow and Background Check dashboards are faster now, especially with large data sets, and continue to remember your previous configuration selections between visits
- Officials payroll can now be configured to calculate pay using the rate in effect when the batch report runs, avoiding mismatches when a rate changes after a game is assigned
