The next set of TeamSideline enhancements will be available on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025. This Release includes continued improvements to Workflow, Member Passes, and Scheduling tools, along with exciting new communication capabilities designed specifically for “Associated” or “Parent” Organizations.
Below are the highlights of the upcoming features:
Workflow Enhancements
In our last release, we introduced Workflow, a powerful tool to track and manage requirements across player registrations. It’s perfect for tracking Player Certifications. We’ve continued expanding Workflow functionality, and you will now be able to enjoy these new features:

Track Files and Images using Workflow
Admins can save a ton of time by linking “File” type Custom Fields and Enrollment Fields directly to Workflow items. For example, as an Admin, you can easily preview uploaded birth certificates or school or medical forms in a pop-up view without downloading the file or going to a new browser tab. -
Enable your Members to see Workflow Status
Now your Members can know what needs to be done to complete items for, say, Player Certifications. Your customers can sign into their account and go to My Account > Workflow to view all of Workflow items that need to be done – and see comments you’ve made if any items are not correct or complete. This visibility for your customers makes it easier for you and them to stay on top of requirements and avoid delays. As an Admin you can toggle all member visibility to Workflow items on then off with one click. -
Expanded Communication to Linked Organizations via Workflow
Parent Orgs can now email participants in Associated Child Orgs—whether it’s full rosters or specific programs. In addition, a huge change is that now “Game Change Notifications” can also reach linked team sites – automatically – even if Rosters were not created in your Site. So now everyone stays informed about game changes, with no extra effort.
Member Pass Updates
Our redesigned Member Passes have already made game check-ins faster and more flexible by allowing you to customize the information displayed. With this release, we’ve expanded Member Pass functionality even further. New updates include:
- New Status Bar Color added to Member Passes makes it easy to view a player's status immediately. If a participant is suspended, has an incomplete Workflow item, or an expired Membership, the bar will appear Red instead of Green at the top of the Member Pass to help coaches and admins quickly make calls on the field.
- New Report View option for the Member Pass makes it easier to quickly export out or bulk review all of your Member Passes by Program vs viewing individually. Go to Reports > Report Viewer and use the drop down to use the new “Member Passes” in the drop down.

New Display Fields: The Member Passes also have some new fields they can display.
- If your Organization utilizes our Card Tracking functionality your Member Passes can now “Date Card Issued” and new “Date Card Expires” fields for Yellow and Red Cards.
- If your Organization utilizes our Membership Module, the “Membership Name” and “Date Range” are now field options to have show on the Member Pass.
New Modern Look: Roster Assignment & Enrollment Pages
We’ve completely refreshed the look of the Roster Assignment and Enrollment pages to make it easier to get the information and access you need:
- For Roster Assignment, hovering over a player or volunteer name opens a modernized info panel with relevant information to the enrollment and direct links to enrollment and workflows.
- Now on customer’s account, when viewing a player’s Enrollments the view has been updated to allow for better readability and direct linkages to player Accounts and Workflows to make your life easier.
Picture Roster Enhancements
Player Picture Rosters have been modernized to give your team rosters a cleaner, more professional look. These updates apply to both Youth and Adult registration types. Coaches and admins will notice sharper formatting, improved layout, and a more streamlined design to make player and coach info easy to read at a glance.
Amilia Integration Expansion
We are excited to announce we have completed our Amilia integration to support:
- Team Registration
- Team + Youth/Adult Roster Registration

Parent Organization Improvements
If your organization uses TeamSideline’s Parent/Child structure for your sites, you’ll notice several new upgrades:

Communication Across Sites
Parent Orgs can now email rosters in Child Orgs (if enabled by Child Org). Child Orgs must opt in. -
Cleaner Game Scroller
When using our Shared Schedule functionality, the Game Scroller now defaults to showing only your Organization’s games rather than all games shared from the Parent Organization.
Scheduling Improvements

NEW Team Editing for Multi Location Calendar
Admins can now quickly edit Teams directly from the Schedules > Locations > Multi Location Calendar page. Previously, only location, date, and time could be updated via the drag and drop. This new enhancement introduces inline editing for team assignments, making it easier to adjust matchups without needing to switch pages. Just right click the desired game to access the edit options and select the “Edit Game” option to quickly make a change. -
New Day of the Week Distribution Table
On the 4 Create Schedule page, a new graph has been added to display how many games each team has on each day of the week. This helps ensure even distribution across weekends or weekdays. -
New “Avoid Team” Schedule Conflict Option
On the Division’s 2 Teams tab, there is a new Schedule Conflict option. You can now add a conflict called “Avoid Team” to have the system give a warning when a team is scheduled against a team they have an “Avoid Team” warning for. -
New Custom Role for Scheduling
Premium customers can now request a “Limited Scheduler” role. This role only allows the Admin to edit games where the Admin’s Associated Organization team is the home team and the game is at a location linked to their Associated Organization. This allows delegated access without giving full control. To request this role, please email us at support@teamsideline.com.
Other Notable Improvements
- Multi Edit Customer Improvements, Admins can easily edit multiple customer accounts using a new and improved screen that allows for quick saves and inline editing.
- Payment Plan Modifications Admins can now cancel failed payment plan transactions (not just pending ones). This prevents double charges when a customer manually pays after a failed transaction.
- GotSport Match Cards & Exports We now have a “GotSport Soccer Scoresheet” that you can export via Reports > Report Viewer. This new scoresheet pulls the necessary team and player information directly from TeamSideline and arranges it to meet GotSport’s standards, saving you time and ensuring consistency. Perfect for leagues and tournaments that use both systems. Need to move roster data into GotSport? Now you can quickly export Player and Coach data from TeamSideline in a format ready for GotSport import. To do this go to Reports > Report Exports and run the “GotSport Coach Export” or GotSport Player Export”
