1 Setup is the first page of every registration program. It holds the program's name, description, picture and dates, and the settings for discounts, payments, waitlists and how the program shows on your website. Which settings you see depends on the program's Registration Type, your plan and your admin role; click Save when you're done ("Program has been saved.").

Registration Type
You choose the Registration Type when you add the program, and 1 Setup shows it as text: it can't be changed. The types are Youth Registration, Adult Registration, Youth & Adult Registration, Team Registration, Team Registration plus Youth Roster Registration, Team Registration plus Adult Roster Registration and Youth Camp Registration. A Youth Camp Registration program has no Sport, rosters or Team Sites: its pages are 1 Setup, 2 Configuration, 3 Preview and 4 Dashboard.

Check your work on 3 Preview
- Save 1 Setup and open 3 Preview.
- In Preview Of, choose 1. Program on Home Page, 2. Register to Cart Pages or 3. Enrollment Page (4. Enrollment Image Page when photos are on).
- Choose the Enrollment Type, the Offering and Returning or New, and click Preview to step through registration as a family would.
If it doesn't work
- "Your Program Description has exceeded the maximum allowable space -- please shorten." The 2,500 characters include formatting. Text pasted from a document adds a lot; paste it as plain text.
- "Program Duration End Date must be after Start Date." Change Ends.
- "Credit Cards must be enabled for checkout before requiring it for a program (see Programs/Configurations/General)." Allow that payment type first; Check and Other give matching messages.
- "Enrollment Image Upload must be enabled for Player Cards." Set Enrollment Image to a Yes option.
- "Max # of Enrollments has been set on one or more offerings." Clear the program's max, or the offerings' maxes.
- Archive won't save. "All the team sites associated with the program "(program)" must be archived prior to archiving this program." Archive them on 5 Team Sites, then archive the program.
- "Invalid "Order Copy To" entry. Use commas to separate email addresses if more than one." Fix the addresses.
- Families see "The required payment type is different than other cart items. Please place a separate order for this item." Programs with different Req Payment Types can't share a cart.
- Save is grayed out. The program is archived, or your role can view 1 Setup but not change it.
Good to know
- Keep the Program Description to text, links and pictures. Code pasted into it, such as a widget, also loads wherever the program is listed and can break that page.
- Checkout has no buy-now-pay-later option; Partial Pay and Payment Plans spread payments.
