TeamSideline subscriptions are paid yearly, in advance, for the whole subscription year, and that year isn't refunded: there's no money-back guarantee and no prorated, partial-year or unused-time refund if your organization stops using TeamSideline or moves to another provider. Canceling stops your next renewal, and your site stays on until the end of the year you've paid for.
Applies to: Org admins and billing contacts · All plans (Core, Enhanced, Elite, Enterprise) and older packages · TeamSideline subscription billing
Where: Administration > Subscription > Summary (Renewal Date) and Invoices; cancellation requests go to TeamSideline Support
What is and isn't refunded
- The current subscription year isn't refunded, including months, teams or features you didn't use. Your subscription isn't billed by the month or by how much you use TeamSideline, so there are no prorated or partial refunds.
- A renewal starts a new year. A renewal charged or paid on your renewal date is the next year's fee, and the same rule applies to it. To avoid renewing, cancel before your renewal date.
- Paid ahead for more than one year? Say so in your cancellation request, so Support can confirm the date your subscription ends.
When you cancel
- There's no cancel button in TeamSideline. Send TeamSideline Support a cancellation request before your renewal date, as How do we cancel our TeamSideline subscription? describes.
- Your subscription stays active until the end of the year you've paid for. When it ends, your site is turned off and admins can't sign in, so export the records you want to keep before then.
- Your renewal date is shown as Renewal Date on Administration > Subscription > Summary.
How refunds are paid
When TeamSideline issues a refund, it goes back the way the invoice was paid: to the card or bank account (ACH) that paid it, or by check for a payment made by check.
If something doesn't look right
- You asked to cancel before your renewal date but were charged for the renewal. Email support@teamsideline.com with your organization's name and the invoice number.
- You paid the same invoice twice, for example online and with a mailed or bank bill-pay check. Email support@teamsideline.com with proof of both payments.
Good to know
- Only TeamSideline Support can confirm a cancellation or a refund.
- Billing can only be discussed with a listed site admin or billing contact of your organization.
- Changing your plan or modules isn't a cancellation. Contact support@teamsideline.com or your TeamSideline account representative.
