Your Team Site uses the same email address and password as your organization's website and the TeamSideline app. On the web, sign in on your organization's website and click your team under Team Sites, or sign in on the TeamSideline Team Sites sign-in page. On a phone, sign in to the TeamSideline app.
Applies to: Parents, players, coaches and team staff · All plans · Team Sites, in a web browser or the TeamSideline app
Where: Your organization's website > Sign In > Team Sites > (your team); www.teamsideline.com/Team/SignIn.aspx; or the TeamSideline app
Before you start
- Sign in with the email address on the team's roster. For a youth player on an organization's team, that's the email address of the parent or guardian on the family account that registered the player. Coaches, team staff and adult players use the address on their own roster entry.
- Your team appears once your organization publishes its Team Site with you on the roster. Many organizations send an email with the subject "Announcement" when they do.
- One TeamSideline account works everywhere. There's no separate Team Site or app password.
Sign in on your organization's website
- Go to your organization's website and click Sign In at the top of the page.
- Enter your Email and Password, and click Sign In.
- Under Team Sites, click your team. Each team is listed by its name and season, on the page you land on and in the menu.
What you'll see: your team's Team Home page. This is the route your organization's Team Site welcome email describes.
Sign in on the TeamSideline Team Sites page
- Go to www.teamsideline.com/Team/SignIn.aspx. The Team Sites Sign In button on TeamSideline's Find Team Schedule page opens the same page.
- On Welcome to TeamSites Sign In, enter your Email and Password.
- Click Sign In.
- In the menu on the left, click Teams, then your team.
What you'll see: first Home, which lists your next seven days of team activities, then your team's Team Home when you pick it. The Teams menu lists every team you're on, from every organization that uses TeamSideline, plus the Family & Friend Teams you follow and All Teams.
Sign in to the TeamSideline app
Download the free TeamSideline app from the App Store or Google Play, and sign in with the same email address and password. How to download and sign in to the TeamSideline app has the steps, including the one-time email check for a new account.
If it doesn't work
- "Sign In failed. Please make sure your email address and password were entered correctly, and try again. Note: Passwords are case sensitive." The email address and password don't match. Check the Email box, which can be filled in with the last address used on this browser, and type your password instead of pasting it. If you aren't sure of your password, reset it with Forgot your password? on the same page.
- "Too many sign in attempts. Click the "Forgot your password?" link below to reset your password." Too many failed tries have blocked sign-in for a while, even with the right password. Click Forgot your password? and set a new password. That lifts the block.
- "In a few minutes, you will receive a Validate Your Email Address email." Your account hasn't confirmed its email address yet. Open that email (check your spam or junk folder), click its Validate Your Email Address link, and sign in again. You'll see "Your Account has been activated." You only do this once. If you're already on a published team, signing in on your organization's website and clicking your team there also works.
- You're signed in, but your team isn't listed. You probably signed in with a different email address from the one on the roster, or your organization hasn't published the team's site yet. Why don't I see my team after I sign in? walks through the checks.
- You typed teamsideline.com and see TeamSideline's company website. That's TeamSideline's main website, not your Team Site. Use your organization's website or the sign-in address above.
- A notice about updated terms appears after you sign in. TeamSideline's terms were updated. Read and accept them to continue.
Good to know
- Your email address and password are the same on every organization's website that uses TeamSideline, on the Team Sites sign-in page and in the app. If you change your password in one place, use the new one everywhere.
- There's no search for a team, on the web or in the app. You see the teams whose roster has the email address you signed in with. If your team is missing, ask the coach or your organization which email address they have for you. TeamSideline's Find Team Schedule search finds league game schedules, not Team Sites.
- Your organization's website lists only your Team Sites with that organization, and not the teams you follow with Family & Friends. The Team Sites sign-in page and the app show all of them.
- Team staff can search for a league's game schedule to link to their team with Manage Linked Schedules. That adds games to the team; it doesn't find teams to join.
- Grandparents and other relatives who aren't on the roster can follow your teams through Family & Friends. They sign in the same ways, with their own email address.
