TeamSideline supports the following playoff/tournament brackets and number of games:
- Best Match - Single Game
- Teams play only one game against each other based on their position in the standings.
- Number of teams - 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 48 - Over 16 teams available in Tournament module only
- Double Elimination (USA Softball Compliant)
- A double-elimination tournament is a type of elimination tournament in which a team ceases to be eligible to win the final championship upon having lost two games or matches.
- Number of teams - 2 through 32 - Over 16 teams available in Tournament module only
- Single Elimination No Consolation
- Each winning team will play another winning team in the next round, until the final match-up and the winner of the final game becomes the champion.
- Number of teams - 2 through 32 - Over 16 teams available in Tournament module only
- Single Elimination With Consolation - Available in Tournament module only
- Each winning team will play another winning team in the next round, until the final match-up and the winner of the final game becomes the champion. Losing teams fall into the alternate bracket that also produces it's own final winner.
- Number of teams - 4 through 24
- Single Elimination With Semi-Final Consolation (additional game added to determine 3rd and 4th place)
- Each winning team will play another winning team in the next round, until the final match-up and the winner of the final game becomes the champion. An additional game added to determine 3rd and 4th place.
- Number of teams - 4 through 32 - Over 16 teams available in Tournament module only
- 2 Game Guarantee (2GG) - Available in Tournament module only
- A 2 game guarantee bracket is a single elimination bracket with an extra game for each team that loses in the first round. 2GG means that only those who lose their first game go to the losers' bracket. If you win your first game but lose your second game, you are out.
- Number of teams - 5 through 16
- 3 Game Guarantee (3GG) - Available in Tournament module only
- A 3 game guarantee bracket is very similar to a double elimination bracket style. Teams are seeded into the bracket based on their standings. When a team loses in the Winners Bracket, they are placed in the Losers Bracket. If a team loses their 2nd game of the tournament, they are placed back into the Losers Bracket to guarantee them 3 games.
