Hello TeamSideline Admin!
We appreciate all of the feedback we’ve been getting from customers like you to help improve TeamSideline. We will implement the next set of 2024 Enhancements in a Release of system changes available to you Tuesday, October1st.
In this article, we have highlighted some of the key features and changes, but you may notice other improvements throughout the site thanks to suggestions from Admins like you.
If you have any feedback to share, please email allison.m@teamsideline.com. If you have questions about how features work or need any support, please email support@teamsideline.com.
Phase 1 of Real Time Scorekeeping in Beta Testing
TeamSideline’s Real-Time Scorekeeping has reached Phase 1, now available in Beta for User Testing. Feedback from testers will play a vital role in refining the system ahead of its v1.0 launch, scheduled for the Spring season. This initial version focuses on tracking Pitch Count and Counting Innings, with seamless integration into the Stats Module on your TeamSideline site. You can display these stats by Game, Team, or Player— all fully integrated within your site.
Enhanced Scheduling Alerts
We’ve made significant improvements to scheduling alerts! Previously, red or yellow alerts appeared at the top of the “Create Schedule” page, with game cells marked accordingly.
With this release, each alert type is paired with a distinct icon, displayed inline with the game it pertains to, making it easier to identify issues related to specific games. Plus, you can now customize alert colors and icons based on your preferences.
This upgrade helps you prioritize and manage alerts more efficiently, streamlining your workflow.

Use One Email for Multiple Roles
After this release, you can use the same email address to sign in as an Admin, Parent, Adult Player, or Coach. When signed in as a Parent, Player, or Coach, the system functions as it does for those roles. When signed in as an Admin, the system will automatically adjust to reflect admin privileges.
Simply use the Admin Sign-In link for Admin access and the Public Sign-In link for all other roles.
Automatic Chargeback Handling
Now available with our new payment processor, when an organization loses a chargeback, the system will automatically update your customer’s account with the amount owed—no manual adjustments needed! This is a game-changer for league administrators, streamlining the process and ensuring everything stays accurate and hassle-free for both admins and participants. It’s a huge time-saver and brings even more efficiency to managing your league!
Improved Help Access
We’ve brought back the Page-Specific Help icon to boost usability. If you’re unsure how to use a page, click the Help icon on the right side to access instructions specific to that page. Need more assistance? Click the Help icon in the left navigation menu for access to our full knowledge base and training videos.
Modernized Team Sites Navigation
The Team Sites navigation bar has been moved from the top to the left side of the screen, optimized for ease of use, and equipped with helpful icons. This improvement, already implemented for Public User and Admin views, is now available in the web version of Team Sites, marking the next step in our ongoing navigation system update.
