The Auto Coach Scoring feature will send coaches an email with a link for them to score their games. You can also choose whether that scoring request goes to just the team's primary contact or to all staff.
Note: The Who Scores Game option currently has to be enabled by Support, so some sites with Auto Coach Scoring already turned on will not see it yet. Contact support@teamsideline.com to have it added.

How Scoring Review Works
If Which Team Scores Game is set to Both Teams:
- The first coach to submit a score can go back and edit their own submission at any time before the game posts.
- If multiple coaches on the same team have access (for example, when Who Scores Game is set to All Staff), any of them will see a banner reading "This game has already been scored by a coach on your team" but the score fields stay editable, so the score can still be corrected.
- The opposing coach will see a "Game Scored by Other Coach" message until they submit their own score.
- If both scores are submitted but don't match, the first coach will see a "Scoring Under Review" message and can update their score.
If Which Team Scores Game is set to Either Team:
- Once the first coach submits a score, scoring locks for everyone — all other coaches, including that same coach if they go back in, will see a "Game Has Been Scored" message.
Note: Auto Coach Scoring functionality is available in our Premium package. Contact sales@teamsideline.com if you would like more information about adding this feature.
