Posting Game Scores

There are two options for Entering Game Scores.

Option 1: Entering Scores for one Division at a time.

  1. Go to Schedules > Leagues & Divisions.
  2. Click on desired Division name. This will take you to the Division's Standings page.
  3. Click the Edit Scores button to add in the scores. (If you are using Auto Coach Scoring, there are also indicators of who has sent in their scores or not. You can put your cursor over the icons to see what scores were reported).
  4. Enter the Home Team's score in the blank field next to the Home Team's name.
  5. Enter the Away Team's score in the blank field next to the Away Team's name. 
  6. For Disposition, use it only if a game has been "Cancelled" or "Forfeited" etc. as TeamSideline will automatically change the Disposition to “Played” any time you click the Save button after entering results.
  7. To have specific information available about a particular game, type in your comments by replacing Enter your Comments here underneath any game.
  8. Click the Hide in Standings box if you prefer not to have a particular game's score count in the Standings. 
  9. Click the Save button when you have finished. 

Option 2: Entering Scores for Multiple Divisions at a time.

To select a Division to score:

  1. Go to Schedules > Multi Division Scoring.
  2. For Date Range, select the select the date ranges for the games you want to score by either manually typing them in or clicking the grey calendar icon.
  3. For Location, use the drop down icon to select the location for the games you want to score.
  4. For Sport Type use the drop down icon to select the sport for the games you want to score.
  5. Click the Update button.

How to Score Games:

  1. For the Home (H) team input the score in the blank field.
  2. For the Away (A) Team input the score in the blank field.
  3. For Entering Comments, you can type specific information about a particular game, type in your comments by replacing Enter Your Comments here underneath any game.
  4. For Disposition, use it only if a game has been "Cancelled" or "Forfeited" etc. as TeamSideline will automatically change the Disposition to “Played” any time you click the Save button after entering results.
  5. If you prefer not to have a particular game's score count in the standings, click the Exclude from Standings radio button.
  6. When satisfied, click the Save button.
