The Raise Donations dashboard lists every donation to one campaign: who gave, how much, whether it was refunded, and what your organization keeps. Use it to reconcile a campaign, refund a donation, or resend a receipt.
Open the dashboard
Go to Reports > Report Dashboards > Raise Donations, or click Donations Dashboard on the Raise Dashboard. If you have only the Fundraiser role, use the Raise Dashboard button.
Run the report
- The filters are open when the page loads. Click Dashboard Configuration to show or hide them.
- Choose a Campaign (required). Each one is listed with its type, such as "Spring Uniforms (Peer-to-Peer)."
- Optionally, set a Date Range. Both dates are included, in your organization's time zone.
- Set the Donations options:
- Include anonymous donations is on by default. Turn it off to leave anonymous donations out.
- Include refunded transactions is off by default, so any donation with a full or partial refund is hidden.
- Show participant name appears for Peer-to-Peer campaigns only and adds the Participant column.
- Click Apply.
If you see "Campaign is required." or "End date must be after start date.", fix the filter and click Apply again.

What the columns mean
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Transaction Number | The donation's order number, such as TXN-123456 |
| Transaction Date | The day of the donation, in your organization's time zone |
| Donor Name | The name the donor chose to display, or the name they entered. Anonymous donors' names show here. |
| Donor Email | The email address the donor entered for the receipt |
| Participant | The player the donation supports (Peer-to-Peer only) |
| Anonymous | Y if the donor chose to give anonymously |
| Refunded | N, Y, or Y with the amount for a partial refund. Refunds show in red. |
| Amount | The donation, not counting any processing fee the donor paid |
| Net Amount | The donation, less refunds, less the card processing fee estimated from your service fee settings |
A refund doesn't return the card processing fee, so a fully refunded donation shows a negative Net Amount in red. Click a column heading to sort, or type in the box under Transaction Number, Donor Name, Donor Email, or Participant to filter.
Refund a donation
- Click the Options icon at the end of the donation's row and choose Refund.
- The donor's Add Transaction page opens in a new tab.
- Process the refund as you would any card refund, such as a Refund - Credit Card transaction on the donation's order. See How to Issue a Partial Refund and How to Void a Transaction.
- To email the donor a refund confirmation, check Send Confirmation Email to Customer. It's off by default.
- Back on the dashboard, check Include refunded transactions and click Apply to see the refund.
Good to know:
- Refunds use the Customers area, so the Fundraiser role alone can't process them. Ask an administrator.
- A refund lowers the amount raised on the donation page and dashboards. The donor still counts toward the donor count and stays in the supporters list.
- Processing fees and refunds: see Explanation of Refunds & Service Fees.
Resend a receipt
- Click the Options icon on the donation's row and choose Send Receipt.
- TeamSideline emails a receipt titled "Thank you! Your gift receipt for [your organization]" to the address the donor entered.
- A message confirms where it went: "The receipt has been sent to [email]."
If the donation has no email address on file, the receipt goes to your organization's contact address, and the message tells you so. The resent receipt includes the campaign, donation date, amount, and your tax details. It looks different from the original, which was your standard Order Confirmation email.
