TeamSideline Raise is a fundraising tool built into your TeamSideline admin site. You create a campaign, share its donation page, and collect card donations through your organization's Payrix payment gateway, so you don't need a separate fundraising platform.
Applies to: Admins with the Administrator or Fundraiser role · Every current plan (Core, Enhanced, Elite and Enterprise), and legacy packages that include Player Registration, Team Registration or Facility Management · Organizations with a Payrix payment gateway
Where: Raise > Dashboard; Raise > Configurations > General (Raise is in the admin menu, between Content and Reports)
Two ways to fundraise
| Crowdfunding | Peer-to-Peer | |
|---|---|---|

| Donation pages | One public page for the campaign | A personal page for each participating player |
| Who shares the link | Your organization | Players and their families |
| Goals | A campaign goal | A campaign goal, plus an optional personal goal that's the same for every player |
| Where donations count | The campaign total | The player's total and the campaign total |
| Needs a program | No | Yes, a Youth Registration or Youth Camp Registration program with teams |
How a Crowdfunding campaign works
- An administrator or fundraiser creates the campaign on Raise > Dashboard, with a goal, dates, and suggested donation amounts.
- You share the donation page link by email, on social media, or on your website.
- Supporters donate from any phone or computer. They don't need a TeamSideline account.
- Each donor gets an email receipt, and a notice of each donation goes to the campaign's Copy to address.
- You track progress on the Raise Dashboard and the Raise Donations dashboard.
How a Peer-to-Peer campaign works
- An administrator or fundraiser creates a Peer-to-Peer campaign and links it to a youth program, and optionally to specific teams.
- When the campaign goes live, TeamSideline emails an invitation to the primary adult on each eligible player's account. It links to that player's personal fundraising page.
- Families share the player's link with friends and relatives.
- Each donation counts toward the player's personal goal and the campaign total.
- You track each player's progress on the Raise P2P dashboard.
What's included
- Mobile-friendly donation pages with your banner, your story, a progress bar toward the goal, and a list of recent supporters.
- Suggested donation amounts (donation tiers), each with an optional Tier Name such as "Team jersey," plus an optional custom amount.
- Optional anonymous giving.
- Share buttons on donation pages and on the thank-you page donors see after they give.
- Automatic email receipts. If you're a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, receipts can include your EIN and a tax-deductible statement.
- A notice of every donation, sent to the address you choose.
- A Raise Dashboard with totals, each campaign's status and progress, and the latest donations.
- Raise Donations and Raise P2P report dashboards for reconciling funds, refunding donations, resending receipts and tracking players.
- A Fundraiser role for staff or volunteers who manage Raise but don't need full administrator access.
What you need before you start
- Raise in your admin menu. You need the Administrator or Fundraiser role, and your plan must include Raise. Every current plan (Core, Enhanced, Elite and Enterprise) includes it, and so does a legacy package that includes Player Registration, Team Registration or Facility Management. If you have the role but don't see Raise, contact support@teamsideline.com.
- A Payrix payment gateway set up in TeamSideline. Raise takes donations only through Payrix.
- For Peer-to-Peer only: a Youth Registration or Youth Camp Registration program with teams set up in divisions.
Good to know
- Donors pay by credit or debit card. Cash and check donations can't be recorded in Raise.
- If your organization passes processing fees on to customers, donors see the fee before they give. It's added to their total and doesn't count toward your goal.
- Raise is separate from the Donations page on your website, which sells donation items from Programs > Store/Donations Setup through your website's checkout. Use Raise for a campaign with a goal and its own donation page, or a page for each player. For the Donations page, see How to set up a Donations page (Legacy content editor) or CMS: Add a Store or Donations page to your website.
- Leaderboards and recurring donations aren't available in this release.
